The breakfast was good & sitting on terrace was very enjoyable. The authenticity of the place was impressive.
We tried to book for dinner however we were disappointed there were no vegetarian options so we had to decline the booking.

We came to Marseille France just to see this stunning example of architecture!

Located in an iconic building , the stay cannot be compared to typical hotel. Designed on certain principals, the rooms offer a different aspect of size and space proportions, looks small but feels great.
Plumbing maintenance would help.

Fantastic historic building and definitely got to appreciate better from staying there rather than just visiting. Watching the sunset from the restaurant terrace or the roof top fabulous.
The bed wasn't the most comfortable. We enjoyed exploring a different part of Marseille but it is quite a distance (walk and metro) from the centre.

For lovers of architecture and its history. An unusual place where you can go back in time to the 1950.
The place is amazing and the charming Manager is very helpful in everything. It is good to contact her before your arrival.

Only the fact that was designed by Corbusier
We are architects and we were excited to stay there for one night. Bad choice: as it was worse than a bus station (we never slept in one but I imagine)!
Extremly poor administration showed signs everywhere:
After going around three times, we hardly found a handicap parking and in the next second a woman who didn't have any sign on the mirror as handicap, parked nearby blocking our exit. When I showed her the sign, she started to fight with me like she was hating tourists. Why not a designed hotel guests parking?
On the main floor, we asked three people where is the hotel reception and none of them either knew or spoke English.
Shame on everyone working in hospitality that doesn't speak English or refuse to speak it!!!
We understood that everything was kept as original and we loved it but there are years since then and little things are needed as a touch:
- squiky beds (ok, we understood) but why not a top foam mattress on the originals?
- lights kept as they were designed (nice and ok) but why not smaller ones near the bed? Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and turning on the big light, definitely felt horrible.
- why not a little fridge under the desk? Don't you think Corbusier had any fridge?
- why not curtains that are fixed so no light can get in?
- why not a small kettle and coffee? (What kind of hotel is not offering coffee now-a days?????)
- why the weird switches that we were explained of not to touch or otherwise they will tick-tack all night. No explanation was offered why is this happening and of course we forgot, touched them by accident, and didn't know how to fix them so all night we heard the tick-tack. Crazy!
- why the ancient horrible blankets and pillows? What would be wrong with simple Ikea like, light blankets?
- why the TV sitting on a box, in the middle of the room so it can easily get knocked down?
What is wrong with an arm on the wall so it can stay flat when not in use?
....
And so on, and so on...

One of a kind experience. Absolutely breathtaking architecture. Super kind staff.

The access to the wonderful terrace, the convenience of an onsite bar and restaurant with great views and the wonderful staff - efficient, friendly & professional.
No clear signs for hotel parking, etc. could improve.

The period furnishings that matched the building history. The friendly service at the bar and breakfast. The historic building.

The building itself and the decoration, very arty, the rooftop, the restaurant and balcony looked amazing, the view. And was closed to the Stade Velodrome.
Given the price of the room, I was expecting a bit more comfort. The walls were super thin and I could hear everything in the other rooms. The toilets were outside of the room, the curtains were not covering the window so I was awaken by the daylight. The breakfast was not served before 08:00 which is a pity as the restaurant looked amazing but I had an early plane to catch. This was a nice hotel, very arty but a bit pricey I guess for what they offer.

This is a unique hotel. It is a monument to conceptual architecture, it defies box ticking exercises.
Given the unique raison d'etre of this, this question is irrelevant. I would say that the rooms are spartan.

Bed was too small for 2 people. I wasn’t able to sleep
