A homely cottage full of character, nestled in the heart of Cwm Penmachno with glorious views.. 2 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Breakfast Area, Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, (No Door)
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Single (3ft) Bed. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Logs for wood burner available locally.. Enclosed gardens with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. A cosy Welsh cottage, nestled in a peaceful and idyllic location in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by countryside views. The bay window is a lovely spot to enjoy watching the birds. Help yourself to the bird feed, please just replenish what you use so the next guests can enjoy too. It is in a rural location yet there’s a friendly pub only 3 miles away in Penmachno, along with small convenience store that’s open seven days of the week. A few minutes down the road is the Penmachno Bike Trails with 30km of trails suitable for all abilities, managed and set up by local volunteers and funded by donations. There are many walking routes with wonderful scenery to explore, you can even take a wander around the now disused slate quarry a short walk from the cottage, or for the more adventurous, why not delve below and take a tour into the caves with ’Go Below Underground Adventures’?
A short drive of ten minutes will take you to Betws-y-Coed known as the ‘gateway to the Snowdonia National Park’, a popular destination for all age groups. It’s a bustling spot with many highly rated eateries to enjoy, friendly pubs, some fabulous shops selling local items and various outdoor pursuit shops, and a Golf Club which welcomes visitors.
There are some very scenic walks straight from your doorstep, along rivers, waterfalls, Llyn (lake) Elsi sits above the village and is well worth the hike up. Just down the valley from Betws-y-Coed are the famous Marin Bike Trails, with colour coded routes suitable for all abilities. You’ll find a bike hire shop in Betws-y-Coed and at the nearby market town of Llanrwst; here you will also find a larger grocery store. Just up the road from the Marin Bike Trails is Llyn Geirionydd (Geirionydd Lake) this is a wonderful spot for a day out where you can use the lake to take a dip or use your paddle boards and kayaks; there are picnic benches available, parking and toilets.
Tree Top Adventures are nearby where you will find six adventures to choose from, some of which are tree hopping, a forest coaster and skyride (check out their website and be sure to book to avoid disappointment). 20 minutes’ drive from the cottage are Llechwedd Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, another great day out for the kids and adults alike, with further activities for all interests such as deep mine tours, underground golf, ziplines and more.

There is no mobile phone signal in the village but there is a landline for your convenience. Please note that overseas and 08 / 09 numbers will be chargeable.
Please note that rubbish collection is on Mondays and bins need to placed on the road. The recycling boxes are collected weekly, the black bin is only once every 4 weeks so please recycle where possible rather than fill up the black bin with bin bags.
