Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft ist der Wahnsinn und auf jeden Fall den Preis wert. Das Anwesen liegt abgeschieden in mitten einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Das Zimmer war groß, super sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Poollandschaft ladet zum Verweilen ein. Auch das Abendessen im Garten hat uns überzeugt. Das beste Hotel in dem wir je waren.

Wundervolles Hotel im Herzen der Toskana

Wunderschönes Hotel im Herzen der Toscana. Wir hatten ein extrem schönes und sehr komfortables Zimmer mit allem Komfort, den man sich nur wünschen kann. Das Bett war super bequem und insbesondere die Klimaanlage war sehr gut & leise. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit in allen Belangen. Wir haben auch an einem Kochkurs für Pasta teilgenommen, dies hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir haben wertvolle Tips erhalten. Das Frühstück war spitze mit vielen hausgemachten, regionalen Spezialitäten.

Brand new, beautifully renovated and very clean! Location was amazing.

The hotel restaurant, where we ate the first evening was disappointing. The room was cold, lighting was bad, and food was small quantities and mediocre. Also, when asking for water in the room (we were informed that we could not drink the tap water) it was charged.

Taking into consideration that the property was just opened I think they still have much to improve.

To be honest we had much better breakfasts at some B&B during our trip ti Italy than we had at the Aldina. It was definitely not the level you expect at Relais&Chateaux property. Strawberries for examples were lay on the buffet not cleaned, so I had to cut greens from them to eat with my yogurt. Or there was one kind of old dry cheese in the cheese section. If you missed some pastries they finished, no top ups. Nobody offered us eggs, the only option was to boil it yourself. Kitchen was too noisy, in the main restaurant you always hear sounds of glass, cutlery moving around or running water. we observed when personnel arrived to the kitchen in their own clothes, very casually, they move back and forth from the restaurant to the kitchen and back. Through the open door you could see buckets, mops and other cleaning staff. That was really strange. The backdoor of the kitchen was at same spot as a reception so you could see all the deliveries etc. I think it wasn't a good planning idea. Waiter's English was very poor and it was problematic as we don't speak Italian or French. Few times I had to ask change plate and fork as they had stains. We also had a dinner there. Our table and two table next to us ordered lamb fillet from the menu and the dishes looked soo different, somebody had huge bones, somebody like myself a bit overcooked pieces of lamb. My husband had a rabbit, but it was very strange dish, I liked the garden salad though.

I love the location and view. The room design was excellent and all the amenities, facilities were decent. The only thing we couldn't turn AC on, it was central controlled and always on a fan mode. I couldn't switch to cool mode so it was hot in the night. We could charge our electric car there and we are grateful for that. I also saw a group of deers in the night.

A hotel which could be lovely in time however not yet fully operational and more expensive than comparable hotels.

Lovely setting. Beautiful stone buildings and a fabulous pool.

The indoor dining area felt bare and staff did not clean tables after meals. Staff seemed a little confused and disorganised. Our room had a kitchenette with lighting strips left unattached on benches. I understand that the property is brand new however the exorbitant nightly rate for a hotel clearly not fully up and running is unjustified.

Keep the great work! We will be back!

Just renovated and opened in June 2023! I loved the Facilities, very attentive staff, especially Elena thanks to Her kindness on the phone we decided to stay there. Also Fabio-manager was very hospitable and all the staff at the reception, spa treatments and restaurant regrettably I do not remember all the names. Breakfast and “merenda” small aperitifs each afternoon is of the best quality. Well kept.

Just a comment for the future. They started their own olive trees so I hope soon the olive oil will be Italian from their own Tuscan garden not from France.However I understand since it is French boutique chain they have many French products.
