Not very soundproof for rooms. A bit removed from Utrecht centre but that’s not always a drawback. Close to transportation options. Good option for a budget

The hotel was nice and was in a good area.

I was in a double bedroom quite large, I believe an upgrade.
The hotel is well located and easy to get to from the city centre. The hotel staff were pleasant and check-in was easy.
The bedroom was excellent, though I'd be interested to know how warm it is in the winter? The windows were well sealed which kept the temperature at night to a minimum.
Bathroom was great for what I needed.
Would stop again!

Nice, functional room with all the necessary amenities. There is a lot of chipboard, which I find an odd design choice, but that's a personal preference. The location is good with a tram stop just across the road and easy access to the centre of town. A few good local restaurants.

My stay at the golden stork was great. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and patient too. Due to the time of year (summer) it was incredibly hot in the hotel, and the ventilation of the room was unfortunately not good. The staff kindly provided a fan, however it didn’t work. Nonetheless the room was great in all other aspects- the bed was comfy, the desk was convenient for work, the shower was great, and I felt safe and comfortable there. The area is mostly industrious, however there are tram stations nearby to get to The Hague or other places.

Enjoyed our stay

Fairly basic hotel and facilities, with good reception staff in a decent area. Tram stops in the immediate vicinity. The style and decor inside won’t be for everyone, but the hotel provided excellent value for money.

Friendly staff and handy laundry facilities. The hotel restaurant that already had limited choices had several items not available when we went there and the food was very mediocre. We couldn’t find anywhere else nearby so ate in nearby Delft or Den Haag while staying at this hotel.

Bed bugs in the beds, washroom has no ventilation and smelled like piss even though they "cleaned" it. Window glass was broken and was tapped up instead of being replaced. Elevators jam and sound like they are ready to fall apart. Bed frame was just a bunch of corkboard nailed together, was wobbly and not secure. Mattresses wasn't comfortable and had beg bugs, disgusting establishment.

Nothing wrong with this hotel with excellent prices. Everything you need, spacious rooms, good shower, super good restaurant.
The environment is not a warm bath, but more an industrial area with a lot of traffic.

The hotel is nice, clean, and convenient with respect to price and location. The problem with my stay was that the shower in the morning was freezing cold, which ruined the whole experience.

Did not like the room it smelled

Friendly staff. Room met all my needs for a 1-night stay

Very concerned about the fire safety with so much wooden boarding everywhere. The bed clean but strangely constructed on the boards. Single mattresses parted during the night wedging me in between and leaving me sleeping on the wood base. The room contents were sparse, empty fridg, yes a kettle! Hanging clothes rail is awkward to access and crack your head on it whilst climbing onto the wooden bed base framework to hang garments. I was concerned about the fire safety protection and precautions given the amount of bare wooden boarding around the place. Cannot recommend the hotel too highly.

Positive: I liked the common rooms with sofas and coffee machines on every level and the general simple design of the hotel. The staff was very kind, check-in and check-out were very fast, our rooms were relatively clean and provided enough for what we had booked, rooms were cleaned on both days, easy to reach tram transport to den Haag station nearby within less than a 2 min walk, big beds and large windows, 24 hour reception service, fair prices in comparison to others.
Negative: Some areas in the room and hotel require a bit of renovation, the showers don't have a door or curtain, so water lands outside of the shower, the area is a bit dead and doesn't seem very safe at night alone.

Cozy hotel, friendly and professional staff.

Rooms are very basic, like being a student. No TV or suitable seating, but then again ceiling is patched up concrete. Floors and bathroom needed cleaning and hot water was enough for one quick shower. On the plus side, hotel was cheap and there was parking. Very convenient to get tram or train to; The Hague (Den Haag), Rotterdam and/ or Delft, which looked cute!

Over all it wasn’t a bad experience, but I kinda expected more from my actual room.
The staff was really helpful and I really enjoyed having my meals at the cafe/restaurant downstairs. At that time I was there they only offered limited choice and closed at 11:00 am but I was quite pleased with my breakfast. It definitely has a lot of potential.

The ceiling was not painted, the room full of sand, lights were broke, not isolated, i heard people talking at 6.00 in the morning. And ive paid extra E130 for a few hour.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and payed over 750€ for it. Our expectations towards a hotel were not meet, this establishment should not be called Hotel. The room was not vacuumed before we got in, it also was not vacuumed during our stay.
Towels were only swapped occasionally we went to the reception to get new ones, the towels we got had discoloration as of bleach on them and seemed very old.
Shower head was leaking and only had warm to hot water - cold or slightly fresh shower was not possible. Shower gel was empty. Spare toilet paper sat on top of mold (below the water boiler), we were able to get toilet paper again at the reception.
There is a fridge in the room that has a chemical stink to it that unfortunately spread to the groceries we stored in it.
The location is ok, 20-30 minutes to city center by tram and bike

This hotel had changed names eunce we had booked so it was a little tricky finding it. Our room was massive, clean and comfortable. The bath room was spacious too. The finish of the hotel had that industrious looks, which was O.K. No T.V. in the room, which did not bother us. The area is a little run down but a lovely Turkish restaurant just up the road. We tive this 8/10.
