About this house rental
This incredible eco townhouse in historic Electric Wharf has 4 bedrooms across different levels. Decorated with Scandi furniture and fixtures to complement the quiet, comfortable location by the canal is an ideal base for holidaymakers or travelling professionals.
2 free parking spots, gated community, fast WiFi and NETFLIX on 55-inch TV, all at your disposal.
A short 20-minute walk into Coventry centre.
The residential area is located in Electric Wharf which was originally a power station and was built in 1895. The power station played a central role to the prosperity of the City. Not only did it use the coals from local pits, it served the growing needs of companies like Daimler, Standard and Coventry Eagle.
Electric Wharf is a family based and student residential area so people are friendly, enjoying their peaceful time here. Guests are encouraged to adopt a similar spirit and respect the neighbourhood to enjoy the welcoming neighbourhood.
The city centre is a 10-15 minutes drive away, either along the main road (depending on where you want to go to) with shops, restaurants, theatre, Cathedral, museums, ice rink, sports centre, swimming pool, etc.
We require all guests to complete a Guest Info form (to agree to our T&Cs and House Rules) and submit a copy of a valid ID prior to the release of check-in details. We assure you that all submissions are encrypted and are treated according to GDPR rules.
Please note we have a minimum age of 25 for all guests.
We’re thrilled you’ve chosen our space for your getaway. We want you to have an amazing stay with us, and we’ve tried to think of the finer details to help you do just that.
In return we ask you to please abide by the following rules.
1. All of our homes are in residential areas. We want you to enjoy your stay, but we also ask that you have consideration for our neighbours later in the evening.
2. If we suspect any prohibited substances or drugs are being used, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded.
3. Not to use the property for parties, hen/stag parties. If, on arrival, it is felt the Guests are intending to use the property for such an event, you will be refused entrance. If we believe a party is underway, you will be charged £2,000.
4. Please keep music to a reasonable level outside the property. The garden outside lights automatically turn off at 11PM.
5. Not to be the cause of any significant noise between 10PM and 9AM. If noise is deemed to be excessive, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and you will not be refunded.
6. Not to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining premises.
7. Not to smoke in the property. Smoking is allowed outside the property, provided all doors and windows are closed. Please empty ashtrays into the outside bins using a bin liner before you leave. Please do not throw cigarette ends onto the floor. If we suspect you have been smoking in the property, you will be charged £200.
8. Read any safety notices and advice upon arrival at the property, in particular, parking information and fire safety details.
9. Not to re-let or sublet the property to any other group / party.
10. Only use the property strictly for residential purposes.
11. Not to make use of the phone or fax line connected to the property.
12. Not to light any fires or candles in the property.
13. Not to permit any visitors to enter the property, where authorisation has not been requested in advance.
14. Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition, including running the dishwasher (if the house has one), putting rubbish in outside bins and tidying away anything you have used.
