Kuin linnassa yöpyisi

Linnamainen mukava huoneisto. Loistava sijainti keskeisellä paikalla, pysäköinti aivan lähellä. Aamupala todella hyvä. Huoneessa alueen viinejä ostettavana.

Rilassante weekend

Posizione centrale, possibilità di parcheggio vicino (a pagamento), ottima colazione. Camera molto silenziosa e spaziosa. Un ringraziamernto al Sig. Gennaro per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità

Stupenda dimora storica

Palazzo stupendo, avevamo preso la suite perchè al momento della prenotazione era l'unica camera disponibile, è stupenda ne vale la pena e il prezzo è molto buono. Staff gentilissimo e al loro ristorante si mangia benissimo, la fiorentina è ottima e poter provare i vini a calice fai da te con una card è una soluzione fantastica! Complimenti!!

La camera era un po fredda, ma poi abbiamo avvisato e dopo cena era calda.

Soggiorno stupendo in un palazzo storico e meraviglioso...dove la pulizia e il profumo degli ambienti ti abbracciano..La gentilezza di Gennaro per le colazioni al mattino e la cortesia e la disponibilità della titolare hanno reso il soggiorno unico. .. Grazie di cuore.

Beautiful, well-run hotel in a charming old building; marvelous town

The Palazzo del Cardinale is a charming, small hotel in the lovely town of Montalcino. The staff is superb. They are kind and attentive, and the hotel is very well run. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful - freshly baked items, fruit, cheeses and other items. We arrived on the late side one evening, and the staff made it a point to explain the different dining options in the vicinity. The same family that runs the hotel runs a restaurant in the downstairs area, and a wine shop across the street, both of which have wonderful, local items. The area wines are truly special.

The door to reception was locked when we arrived towards the beginning of the dinner hour. However, someone responded to the calls fairly quickly. Not much signage on the outside, but it is easy to ask for by name.

O hotel é muito bem localizado: na entrada do centro histórico e a 200m do estacionamento público (cerca de €10). O quarto tem secador de cabelo, frigobar, abridor de garrafa, duas taças e seis garrafas de vinho, mas não tem televisão. Chuveiro ótimo e toalhas boas. O café da manhã é bom (pães, bolos, torrada, frios e sucos).

O único inconveniente é que o chuveiro não tem box e, portanto, o banheiro fica todo molhado.

Comfortable accommodations, centrally located, great value.

Really cool place perfectly located on the 'main drag'. Good breakfast and an accommodating staff. Free parking and easy access to main thoroughfares are close by.

Great place to stay

SUPER friendly staff, great breakfast and right at the center of Montalcino

An airconditioning would be nice during the summer. And the parking is a public parking a bit far away from the hotel.

We highly recommend this hotel - it was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and professional.

The breakfast was excellent. Our room was very nice and better than expected. We loved the quality sheets and towels. The bed was also very comfortable. The location is great and we also enjoyed the tranquil roof terrace.
