Location -swimming pool and very friendly receptionist. Nice breakfast and beautiful views Layout of little room was nice with everything needed but just needed updating in decor etc.
Room was very run down - balcony mouldy and unusable and woken at 2am by someone loudly banging on doors downstairs. Hot at night as no windows to open and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with balcony doors open .

The location next to the lake and close to the city center is good. I had a nice view on Lac Léman from my room.
Where to start? The apartments are old and without inspiration. The tiles in the floor were very cold. There was nothing to wash dishes, no soap, no brush, no dish towel. The balcony was made of old, dirty concrete, which was not inviting.
The check in and check out times are not very client-friendly. At the same time, they ask the client to do a lot of the cleaning themselves.
The whole village reminded me of a postapocalyptical movie. It was stopped in time, hasn't been modernized in a long time and a lot of the common areas were really dirty. The inside pool area was dirty, water stains on all signs and walls, no light in the changing room, the pool was cold. The sauna and hammam had been switched off for November and December. There was no information about this anywhere. Both on booking.com and the vvf-homepage, the stay is being advertised with all amenities, including sauna. This was the only reason I chose this place. I guess, that is what you call misleading advertisement.
On the last day of my stay, they started to renovate the roof of the house, while I was staying in it!! There was roof material flying all over the place in the hallway. All workers were wearing masks. I had to fear, something unhealthy might be in the old roof (asbest?) and now in the air. I left then and there! I have messaged the vvf administration to discuss the payment and security deposit as there was no one in the village for a check out. I haven't heard back from them until now.

Loved the location. Very easy to walk into Evian les bains which has a Fri market, lots of shops and resturants. If you have a car it's a short drive to chateau Chillon, Yvoire and Morzine and the Gorges de Diable.
Lovely and warm room with a well equipped kitchen area.. There is a large room with a few pieces of gym equipment which we used for pilates. Nice clean pool. You could pre book a set 3 course meal for 16 euros.
Having to check the inventory for the kitchen.
The parking is underground and has a 1.95m height restriction so I couldn't park there..
We had twin beds which were very firm and uncomfortable.

It was walking distance to the boat centre to Lausanne, walking distance to the city centre and to the source cachat of Evian.
The thin walls whereby if your neighbors are walking or speaking, it’s very easily to be disturbed if you were resting.

You have to clean you own room, you have to remove the sheets and left everything clean. We pay 350 EUR per room (for 3 nights). I think that for that price the service should be better.

Great location close to the lake & marina. Worth paying extra for covered parking.
The buffet style restaurant was excellent and good value with plenty of choice and wine included.
There was a lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of entertainment if you wanted it. Nice outdoor pool. Small, basic apartment which proved to be fine. Would return.
No kitchen cleaning products (washing up liquid, cloth, tea towel etc) and no welcome bits (bottled water, coffee sachets etc. Lake view obstructed by trees.

location was great
it was the poorest value for lodging perhaps in thirty years. I’ve never paid so much for so little. I guess I was expecting it to be nice for 370 euros per night. it was not. the bathrooms smelled like they had not been properly cleaned. the list of chores required without financial recourse were extensive. impractical.

it was warm, comfortable beds, we arrived after check in time but the person called us and gave instructions for finding the keys and did our payment over the phone.
there was no spatula to turn over fried eggs, it would have been nice if there was a tiny bit of washing up liquid or a dishwasher tablet, we didnt know to take our own

This location should not be listed under hotels, it is not a hotel. It is a holiday camp where people come for one week and have inclusive meals. There are not individual restaurants on the premises, everything is tied to the holiday camp. Nevertheless, they were every accomadating when I explained that I would like to eat there.
