I figured out that they hadn’t booked our reservation before we went fortunately. Emailed their manager without a response and called vrbo several times. What a waste of time. Thankfully I checked otherwise we wouldn’t have had anywhere to stay.

Nice way to stay at the Resort at Squaw Valley with 6-8 adults or children in one place. The kitchen was all we needed for breakfast and lunch and well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. There is a kerig maker but no coffee pot. The under the counter refrigerator did not have a freezer. The view was wonderful with wall to wall windows in the common area.

The facility was perfect and the three connected rooms were great for 3 couples. We definitely want to come back with our kids because the grounds and pools are awesome. Short walk to the main village and plenty of hiking on our summer trip. The only thing that we did not like is that when we checked out they hit us with over $500 of additional taxes and fees that are not included in the advertised price. When you “pay in full” before your arrival you expect that to be the total cost. There is nothing in the advertising that states that you pay for parking or that there are a ton more taxes and resort fees that you have to pay. If we had known it was going to be that much more we would not have booked it. I called Turnkey and they said they would get back to me within 24hrs with a refund. It has been more than a week and nothing. This is my first negative review for VRBO and not something I normally do.

Amazing location, view and property. Great to have three separate bedrooms with there own bathrooms. Only downside was small refrig and no oven just cook top stove. We will be back.

Check in was easy. The place was great. It had everything that we needed for our stay: microwave, refrigerator, toaster, dishware and silverware. Each room had its own bathroom and private entrance if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at a beautiful resort.
Please note: Once you book the rental you will not be able to make any changes or get any refunds if your plans change unless you have trip insurance. I'm a professional bodybuilder and my show was supposed to be at the Resort but because of Covid, it got moved to Reno, NV. I was not able to cancel and it was a bit frustrating to deal through TurnKey text messaging to find out there was nothing I could do.
Even though it was a bit inconvenient to travel to Reno from Squaw Creek, we still had a spectacular time because the hotel is exceptional and the suite met all our needs and actually was a great place to stay.

I rented a 3br, 3ba property at the Resort at Squaw Creek. In the description it said it was a "presidential 2 story villa with kitchen that sleeps 10" When we got there, it was 3 connecting rooms with a tiny kitchenette. This rental was for a wedding party, and we had food to cook a big meal together, as well as other plans that needed the large space. When I tried to sort it out with the resort staff, they passed the buck to TurnKey, stating it was 3rd party. When I got a hold of TurnKey, they tried to insist on telling me that I rented thru VRBO...WHICH I DID NOT! I spent 4 hours going back and forth with TurnKey, I spoke to 6 different people who ALL stated they were very sorry about the problem, but they had no authority to help me in any way. They stated a local representative was going to meet me at the resort to look at the rooms to verify that it didn't match to what I rented. No one showed up, no one ever called me back and every time I asked to speak to a supervisor they NEVER put me through!! Meanwhile, the entire wedding party was left in the lobby area for the entire 4 hours, which then made us late for our event that evening. In the end, I had to just accept the 3 connecting rooms so that we could move forward for the bride and groom. When we were in the rooms, there were no kitchen towels, no paper towels, no napkins, no REGULAR COFFEE!! When I called housekeeping, they stated because it was a TurnKey rental, they did not replace any items....SERIOUSLY??!! We didn't use those items, its's not a replacement! TurnKey still has not called me back to discuss any type of reimbursement or compensation. They are THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. The views were amazing, it was light filled (except one of the bedrooms), it was really comfortable and being in the resort made getting to the slopes super easy. The condo was exactly as advertised. The only thing that could have been improved is that there is no cleaning service while you stay there (if you want it, it costs $200/day) and there weren't enough garbage bags to get us through the stay. So if they don't include cleaning, they should at least include enough garbage bags to ensure the place can be easily kept clean.

The unit has a great view and as other reviews state has some wear but is incredibly convenient. When we arrived there was a broken glass in the unit but it was otherwise clean. The unit was not well stocked with simple things like toilet paper but Squaw Creek Resort staff helped in this area and made our stay great.
The unit listed on VRBO when I booked was not the same unit provided by Turn Key. The unit listed was a penthouse unit on the 9th floor and we were placed on the 5th floor which would not have been a big deal but when I called to inquire about this I was not offered an apology by Turnkey staff and was told that this was my fault. I didn’t think I was out of line expecting someone at Turnkey to say “sorry for the error.” I was told this was VRBO’s fault and I should ask VRBO for compensation. I was not even offered an early check-in/late check-out which I did not need but I thought either an apology or small gesture would be appropriate.
In short, we had a great time at the resort but will next time book direct through the resort as I was there for a conference and felt that other people I knew who had rented direct had better kept units and the Squaw Creek Resort staff was incredibly helpful.

The resort is just the right size / big enough to have an array of amenities but small enough that they are all easily accessible. The staff are very attentive and everything is first rate. We loved the views from the LR/DR/kitchen area, which are enhanced by a wall of windows. Everything was in tip top shape and tastefully decorated. We loved the place for our family’s weeklong ski holiday and will be sure to return.

You can’t beat the mountain valley view! The resort, while lovely, could’ve used a few touches (weeding, etc). The unit itself was quiet (corner unit), plenty of space, and presented itself as advertised. The housekeeping upon arrival was slightly disappointing - minor attention and effort would correct it (dusting, there was take-out food from previous guests still in one of the mini fridges, some of the light fixtures didn’t work, etc.) A number of the staff appeared to still be in training, unsure of answers. We attributed it to seasonal turnover, or possible new management. Still a great location and beautiful property.

I stayed here with my family for a wedding over the weekend. The unit faces the mountainside and has spectacular views. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 babies. My only negative comment is that the furniture is nicked and tired looking . The unit was very clean.

Enjoyed another solid stay at Squaw Creek Resort. Unit was great and extra room a plus. TurnKey was professional and responsive to work with. Only 'partial ding' for resort, given a $75/day resort fee is tennis courts were in bad shape, one totally down, the other the fence borders were down and border fish net with holes instead used (balls would go into parking lot and hillside). Rep mentioned would play if we wanted to try, still fun, but seemed one day's work could prep both courts for use. Still a great trip.

This unit was perfect to accommodate my husband and me, my oldest adult daughter, her husband and one year old baby, and my youngest adult daughter. It is hard to find a 3 bed 3 bath unit that affords this type of privacy yet provides an adequate gathering space. I initially had concern about the half refrigerator and small kitchen, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much the frig could accommodate and we were able to make breakfast and even a couple of dinners in our unit. The rest of the time we enjoyed the dining options at the Resort and enjoyed all of them. The views from this unit are outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed having other resort amenities including the spa, pool/hot tubs, and retail outlets. There was a perfect area to take the baby for sledding and snow play in addition to ski in/ski out for the skiers. I highly recommend this spot and hope to come back again.

The resort is a wonderful place for an upscale family holiday.
This particular combination of 3 rooms was spacious and well appointed, but there were several maintenance issues that blew a 4 star rating, which the resort always gets in my book.
We didn't want to spend our time watching maintenance crews fix the broken fridge, or one of the rooms heat, or the screws sticking up in the door ways so we managed while we were there. Turnkey was notified and I sincerely hope they correct these issues immediately.
One final buyer beware, Turnkey charges $160 cleaning fee, but you do not receive housekeeping during your visit. Unlike the other rooms at the resort. Apparently you can request this in advance with Turnkey, which would have been nice to know prior to arrival.
This said, if Turnkey commits to keeping their properties well maintained, I would recommend this 3 room combination to others, but I would accept I was not receiving the full 5 star experience I know the resort offers.

We've stayed at the resort several times and were really amazed by the remodel. This unit is on the corner of the building, is the largest we've seen and has great views all the way up the valley looking at the mountain. One of the best condos at the resort. In summer the resort is amazing - the grounds, pools, location and view are incredible. We've stayed in the winter as well and it is the best ski-in/ski-out place in Tahoe.
