Haven’t been to Cedar Key since Covid. It was great to come back, even though our stay was brief. Will be back again.

The a-frame grew on us, and was more impressive as our stay went on, it was off putting when we arrived because of the musty smell, there was also a problem with the sewer system no back ups or anything like that when you flush the toilets the bath tub gurgles and you can smell sewer gases which could be part or all of the musty smell when we walked in

We loved the Cedar Key A-Frame. What a great location with tidal wetlands and birdlife all around. The view from the upper deck was a great place for morning coffee and a sunset drink. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the beds comfortable. Tiki bar down the street was a hoot, and we enjoyed many of the wilderness areas around Cedar Key.

Quiet, isolated location. Easy access to town and great restaurants. No on-site laundry facilities for extended stay. Good kayak access. Wonderful pier for bird watching and spectacular sunsets.

Amazing sunsets, nature , beautiful park setting yard. Wonderfully appointed kitchen. Good parking. Close to the main hub of Cedar Key, but far enough away that you feel your alone on your own island. Neighbors are friendly and quiet.

We love this property! It was full of vintage charm with cute built-ins and amazing comfortable bedrooms. The view and grounds were breathtaking. If we had the $$, we would buy this property in a heartbeat! It will definitely be our only choice when we visit the Cedar Key area in the future. Cedar Key is a cute little fishing village with great food and people. There are not a lot of conveniences, but if you prepare like we did, you'll love the area and the quaint feel of the little town. And we bought 50 oysters for only $25 from a local seafood market! Woohoo.

We loved the location and home! Not a great place for the beach - but perfect for those that want to kayak, bird watch, hike and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Great local seafood in the area. Go out and enjoy it or go to a market and cook it in the amazingly well stocked kitchen!
Communication with the hosts was super easy and little nudges via email about what the area has to offer were a great touch. When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned (housekeeper had to leave early due to heat exhaustion), but the hosts were very responsive and took care of it quickly, while we enjoyed drinks and dinner out. We will definitely be back to enjoy this little gem!
