Ground floor apartment near central Salcombe, sleeping six in three bedrooms.
5 Combehaven is a ground floor apartment within a luxury gated development only a short walk from Salcombe’s restaurants, pubs, upmarket shops and beautiful waterfront. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps six. There is an open-plan kitchen / lounge / dining room with modern granite worktops, coal-effect gas fire and six-person dining table. Outside, there is a furnished terrace and communal garden. 5 Combehaven is a lovely property for families wanting to be close to the heart of Salcombe without compromising on space.
Amenities: AEG gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.
Wifi. Flat-screen TV with Freeview, Blu-ray DVD player, bluetooth speaker, digital radio and a selection of books games and DVD's.
Master bedroom with DAB clock radio, TV with Freeview.
Bunk bed room has TV with Freeview, DVD player and bean bag.
Baby friendly equipment including travel cot and highchair (cot linen not supplied), plus children's crockery, cutlery and a selection of child friendly games, books and DVD's.
Gas fired central heating and hot water. Entry telephone system.
Parking for two cars (but please note that boats and/or trailers are not permitted).
All bed linen and towels provided, however you will need to bring your own beach towels
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
