Ms. Betty is wonderful! I arrived late because I was driving all day, and she was very helpful in getting me checked in late, and making sure that I had a nice breakfast before getting back on the road the next day. The waterfall view was calming and a nice break from an otherwise stressful couple days of driving. I hope to come back in the future with time to properly enjoy myself and explore the area.

Front desk personnel were amazingly welcoming and worked with us to get the best room for our needs. The room was spacious and comfortable with a deck overlooking the river. Breakfast buffet was beautifully accoutered and so delicious. Highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Old Mill. The location is perfect for all activities in Damascus. Very walkable to downtown. The room was impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. I would stay here again.

What a lovely setting! We had dinner at their restaurant on site overlooking the mill stream! The room accommodations were nicely appointed and very comfortable. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to return there again to visit more of the shops in the town and surrounding areas.

What a lovely hotel. Totally entertaining from top to bottom. Porches galore all fronting the Laurel Creek & dam. Nature at it best! Walk to town, shops & all that Damascus has to offer. We will be back!

The staff and bartender were excellent. But we thought we were booking the mill inn instead we were put into the old house across the street. It was quaint and clean but i dont think it was worth 200 a night. The tv remote didn’t work the tv. No instructions anywhere for anything. The ac wasn’t working properly. The free breakfast was cold ,coffee luke warm no microwave or way to heat things up. It just wasn’t worth 200 a night.

The staff at the Old Mill Inn were wonderful. We had rented a cabin and it was sold and we were left with no where to stay. The Old Mill Inn staff came to our rescue and even though full got us rooms including for our daughter and her dog!

It was a great visit. Even when the staff didn't show up in the morning, they solved it so we had a wonderful breakfast. Thank you a very nice visit. Willrecommend to everyone and we will be back someday.

Cute Inn and excellent rooms. Our room was in an older house across the walk. Beautifully decorated, they thought of everything and it was very comfortable and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was decent although a bit pricey but happy to have a meal on a Sunday night when everything else was closed. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Inn is right on the water and my son was happy to hop out of the car and start fishing while I checked in. Would stay here again.

Every interaction with the staff, regardless of the role, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and the facility had great outdoor seating options next to the stream and waterfall. One area that does need some attention is the kitchen. Breakfast was disappointing and the quality of the our dinner - lemon garlic pasta - was below par. That said, we would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and enthusiastically recommend staying here. Clean, quiet and comfortable . Beautiful riverside Inn, great breakfast. We will be back. Ice, vending could be improved on, a hot tub on back deck would have made it a 5 star. We wil be back.

Beautiful property! The staff was friendly and helpful. The view is like none other. We loved the selection for Breakfast and ate at the Restaurant for Dinner, which was fabulous! Our room was very clean and had everything that we needed. Every time we passed a member of the staff, they spoke. It really was like stepping into a Hallmark quaint hometown Movie! 10/10 will go again!

Loved the restaurant and bar within the property as it is next to a river and has outside seating. The ducks will keep you entertained, lol! Our room was very small and first room off the elevator. We heard plenty of late night conversations after hours. There was a noise machine available at the bedside and a very nice touch. I couldn’t get the tv to work for the life of me and didn’t call to the front desk to fix bc it was already very when I tried it. Our room had a bathroom with a toilet and shower but the sink and mirror was outside of the bathroom area. Tea and coffee options available in the room on a side table was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

We liked the cleanliness of our room. We hoped for more gluten free options from the Old Mill's restaurant at our complimentary breakfast. But over all very good.

The property was nice and clean. Our room was clean, and much larger than I expected. I do not remember her name, but the lady at the front desk upon check-in was very friendly. She even walked us to our room. One thing I could have done without was the dehumidifier in the room. Combined with the noise of the air conditioner, it was very hard to sleep. It even made it difficult to watch tv once we went back to our room. If staying here, I would recommend eating dinner at one of the other restaurants in town. The food was bland, and the service was horrible. We even heard people at other tables complaining about the service.

Very picturesque setting in beautiful Damascus. Cool hotel housed in an old mill. Nice grounds around the hotel and of course Damascus is very pedestrian friendly. Sad to see how most housing is setup for tourists riding the Creeper Trail. The town seems to be taken over! The rooms was tiny and overpriced, with a saggy bed and a window AC that droned off and on throughout the night making it impossible to sleep. Morning breakfast was the usual found in most hotels these days. Beautiful view at breakfast, looking out on the river. $50 extra for my dog to stay 👎. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

It is a wonderful quaint place, the staff was super nice! My dog Bear really enjoyed all the love and attention he got from the staff and he even got to sit at the dinning room table and order his food off the menu :-) He had such a good time! I really admire the person that took this old mill and came up with the restaurant/ hotel idea- it is beautiful there! God bless!
