100 Block Location on the widest island street makes this an easy trip to South Bayfront to enjoy the Beach. Three blocks to the island ferry that takes you across to the Balboa peninsula . The Balboa peninsula has the fun zone with the ferris wheel and arcade games Beach chairs and Boogie Boards, floats, and games make it easy for all guests to have a great time!

Light, bright, and airy with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms! 2 Private patios and on-site laundry. Close to Ferry restaurants and shopping!

It was a lovely vacation - a beautiful, clean cottage in a perfect location!!! This cottage is my favorite in 20 years - and everything one needs is here!!! I loved it!! Also, the little back patio is cool all day!!

Staying at this property was a perfect getaway for our family. The location is within walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops, and just around the corner from taking the ferry across to the peninsula where the beach, fun zone, and plenty more good times can be found.

This home was perfect for our 3-generation family of six. The location was fantastic, just minutes to the ferry.The house was cute and clean and well appointed. Communication with Kim was easy, and checkout was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

This rental is in a great location and easily walkable to the main street as well as the ferry. We parked and didn’t pick up our car again until we left. It did make me nervous that we did not have designated parking however as the property manager indicated there was really no issue finding parking in front of the house on Any given day. Would definitely recommend to others. The upstairs bedroom does not have an actual door so it’s more of a loft from a sound perspective, Just something to be aware of nothing that would deter me from staying here again. All in all a great value for a great location!

We love Balboa Island and sometimes I think we've rented most of the smaller options on the Island but this was a new one and it was great! It was by far the roomiest option we've ever rented as the bedrooms and bathrooms were quite large. Front porch area was great and communication with host was easy.

Location was great, walking distance to beach, ferry, local restaurants and coffee shop, parking was readily available in front of the unit, very clean inside and fully equipped, Kathy responded very quickly to questions, would definitely return and stay longer next time, thanks for a wonderful stay!

We booked Kathy and Kim’s place last minute on our travels and we are so glad we did! We totally loved Balboa Island! The house was really cosy and comfortable and perfectly positioned! The area is stunning and it was a very short walk to the ferry. We whale watched with Davey’s Locker which was fantastic! We strolled morning and evening around the island perimeter which was stunning! Highly recommend this house and Kathy and Kim were super responsive and helpful!

Adorable cottage in a great location. Two moms with our teenage daughters for spring break. Loved the board games they supplied, we played nightly! Didn’t use the kitchen as we ate out and walked to coffee, great coffee 3 blocks away at Toddo Santos, the best coffee I have ever had!

We traveled to California for Thanksgiving to visit our children and grandchildren, Kathy's house was perfect. Immaculate. Spotless. With a well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. Our 3 grandsons aged 12, 10 and 9 stayed upstairs in the large bedroom and my spouse and I were downstairs. The 2 beautiful bathrooms meant that we were never on top of each other. There was tons of space for every one and a bright sunny outside verandah for morning coffee, reading or lounging and watching the world walk by.

You can't go wrong in Balboa really because it is so beautiful and close to fun activities, but this house has charm because it still has a vintage feel and these properties are getting harder and harder to find. Very clean and comfortable and close to anything you want to do on Balboa, updated with good bedding and linens, nice TVs, supplies, dishware, everything you need. There was minimal construction on the street the house was on but there is nothing anyone can do about that, almost every street in the area has some. The unit itself is nice and quiet.
