This hotel was situated in the middle of a beautiful little oldy worldy down, the people were really friendly and there were other pubs within a short walking distance so you could always find entertainment. The hotel was really quaint and the staff were super welcoming, friendly and helpful, we all really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if in the area.
Nothing, we really enjoyed this hotel.

It was quiet room and clean, staff were polite.
There wasn’t any mirrors in the room only in bathroom which when needing to do hair with appliances was a bit tricky as no plug socket that close. Was also very hot in the night perhaps due to being an old building, had been a very warm day. View was of a roof so mot very exciting.

Location for where I needed to travel to.
Room clean/tidy
If you are in a room at the front you hear the town clock chiming every 1/4 hour.
Staff arguing at the bar in front of guests.
Unable to serve breakfast due to no chef.

From the time we arrive the staff and manager very very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
The toilets in the bar area were the best toilets we have seen. As we go on a lot of coach trips we have see a few.

Bed fairly comfortable
Unprofessional and shouldn’t be trading. We had a disappointing stay when visiting family in the village… door wouldn’t lock, constant sound of running water all night, no hot water to shower in the morning, no staff around to ask for help when my husband tried to find someone in the night to ask for help…. we thought ‘these things happen’ and agreed on a partial refund for the room/stay… although it’s been over two weeks now and still no refund. I’ve tried calling and being told ‘it’s on its way’, I’ve tried emailing to chase with no reply. We were really hoping that it was going to be a positive experience as we visit needham regularly to see family but unfortunately will be staying elsewhere.

Location excellent, lovely building & old bar area, great food & service. Good to have parking available too.
High street is quite noisy so a room at the back might have been a good idea, also might be worth turning off the front building spotlights at night as they shine in the bedroom windows all night and even with the blinds it was still very bright.

Evening menu had plenty of choice and was enjoyable. Super breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms spacious, redecorated and very clean.
Could’ve been warmer, bathroom was chilly.

I was led to believe that they’d just re opened, but, with limited staff, I’m assuming…the whole experience was very special, they made me feel welcome and went out of their way to accommodate my requests, including a fabulous breakfast!!!
The room I stayed in was clean and very presentable

The breakfast was more than ample
Yea/ coffee was not included with the breakfast and was charged extra at £3 per cup
I was not happy with this as it made the breakfast overall too expensive

Great breakfast, enough to last all day. Comfy bed.
Cheerful, friendly attentive staff.
Serious hot water problem. All a little run down, first impressions not favourable but looking past that, we had a pleasant stay.
