We could not get the hot water to work during our stay. Bed was comfortable. No tissues in the room. Outdated but clean.

Pretty dumpy place. No key card. Simply hand you a actual key. Go in room and shut door. No door weather seal. What appeared to be mold/ mildew in corner of door area. Bed is comparable to what a few layers of cardboard on the floor would feel like. Keep smelling mildew throughout the night in my cpap mask. Was supposed to stay a second night. I left the 1st morning with a terrible headache and sinuses flaring up from likely the mold/ mildew. Still not feeling well today and had to throw out my cpap mask, hose and change the filters in it to get rid of the odor. The rest of the room appeared clean. Have pictures and tried to add them but unable to get them uploaded.

The door to our room didn't fit and there was a 1/4 in. gap all around it.
We had to turn on the antique cooler to quell all the noise outside-- a kid bouncing the basketball for hours on end and kids screaming around. The pipe under the sink leaked and splashed down on our feet whenever we turned the sink on. The toilet paper holder was so old it was falling apart and the toilet paper kept falling on the ground. The whole place was dirty and we felt like we were living in a ghetto. The mattress on the bed was the only thing that was decent (amazingly enough). We would have chosen another hotel but it was labor day weekend and everything else was filled up, I had to get the manager at 12:00 a.m. to tell the people next door to be quiet as the people were having an argument. (The walls are paper thin.) The picture in the ad is deceiving. The people running the place were not professional in the least and looked like they came from the dumps. The office windows and everything was dirty and unkept. Hate to paint such a poor picture but I wish someone had been honest enough to put out the truth before we made arrangements. I tried other towns but they were full also. This area is a big one for hunting and four wheeling plus there were two bicycle competitions going on for high schools in the state and another.

The bed was tilted down at the head. We slept with pillows at the foot of the bed. The A/C blew the curtains open when on. The card lock was not operational so they’ve reverted to door keys. The wall sconces didn’t plug in so non working lights. No bugs thankfully. Needs a complete overhaul. Would not stay here or recommend.

The beds are very old and uncomfortable. Lots of noise and the rooms need to be fixed and updated. The toilet in our room would not stop running. We stayed here a few years ago and it was in better condition then.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean & perfect for our one night stay. The place is dated, but wevjust needed a bargain stop to refresh, slerp, & shower.

It was an older facility but was clean. The only thing I really didn’t like is that since I stayed for 12 days straight they would not do any room cleaning and I was responsible to wash my own towels and bedding if I wanted it done

The room was dirty and very cold and the heater was not working. I checked out a hour after I checked in. I would like a refund if I can get a refund please.

This property is not aging well. It definitely needs a pretty big overhaul. I wouldn’t call it dirty but it’s not great either. Unfortunately it would seem much safer if the parking lot had more lighting too. They ran out of parking spots & there was no way I was parking in the back lot so I parked as close as possible on the street. Fortunately the staff was pretty amazing & goes above & beyond if possible.

There was a really bad stinky musky smell as soon as you walk in the room. I think it coming from the super loud heater. There was air flowing through the front door. The bottom lock did not work the windows were unlocked. There were no accommodations in the room. The room looked stripped. No phone to call out. The beds weren’t attached. It felt like we would fall right down to the ground. It was so unfinished, definitely was not ok for the price we paid!!

It was 36 degrees when we walked in to the room. The heater was off. I turned it up to the highest setting of 85 degrees and not one time the entire night did it turn off! It May have gotten up to 67 degrees. There was daylight showing on all 4 sides of the door! I figured it was there heating bill!! Other than that the room was clean.

It is very old and run down, when you turn on the water it is orange, heater didn't work in first room they did move us to another room. Heat took a long time to warm room. It was 30 or colder, but the office was nice and warm.
I would never stay here again.

Our heater did not work in our room as well as one of the locks on the door. The curtain to the window....if we didn't put items in the window sill to hold the curtain inside, people could see inside our room.

This motel was quite nice for a low-budget place. Simple and minimal decor, but the necessities were all there. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. It was perfect for our one-night stay.

Good enough place for a one night stay and somewhere to sleep. Stayed there for the eclipse. Very cute town and would have loved to explore more. The motel is outdated but the floors look new. Very surface cleaned but could probably use a good deep cleaning. Lady at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Having a fridge and microwave was nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Definitely needs update on bed covers. I probably wouldn’t have stayed there for more than one night but was adequate for sleeping.

No deadbolts or chains on the door--I literally pushed a table against it for security. Property feels very old and worn despite newish floors. Bedding is thin. Acceptable as a last resort, but I was glad to leave.

This place was a dump. No coffee-No water. It was full because of the solar eclipse.. We had no other place to stay and they charged us $350. A total rip off. It is worth $50 per night if you don't mind sleeping with your clothes on because it is so dirty. Not even a waste basket in the bathroom. We had to park 3 blocks away because their lot was full of cars from people who appeared to be attending a "Children from the Corn" Friday the 13th festival. Avoid this place if you can!

The facility was very old and rundown, not maintained at all. No water pressure in shower and when i turned on heater it stunk so bad i just turned it off. Goat weeds in dirt parking lot causing them to be tracked in on carpet so you couldn't walk barefoot at all unless you wanted a thorn in your foot. I was charged $333.61 for 2 nights which was extremely high for that rundown of a facility.

Old hotel with extraordinary price to the eclipse.

We were downgraded to a queen bed without compensation because the staff couldn't get a working key for our original king room
Police were called to deal with rowdy guests

Great birthday weekend and eclipse viewing!!!

There staff was very nice and friendly. The place is a bit rundown and it appears that they are trying but it could really use some investment in updating the place.

Said BFast but didn’t have it. Door handle sometimes wouldn’t turn and locked us in our room. No one there to check us out. It’s under new ownership and I think there are some growing pains.

Room not properly clean. Toilet are not clean and floor also not clean.
