The layout of the house was nice. It had a modern feel and it was confortable.

The scenery was excellent. We loved the view by the lake. This was the selling point. It was nice to have a recreation room downstairs where we could gather as a family. The beds were very comfortable and we also liked that there were many bathrooms. The kitchen was very nice.

There were some negatives that were mentioned from past reviews that were not corrected. Such as the trash can pull out cabinet was stuck so we had to leave the trash can out. There were no pot holders that was mentioned from a past review. And there were no tongs in the kitchen. It would also have been nice if there were tissue boxes in bathrooms (hotels always supply tissues). The showers with the brown tiles gave out only warm water vs. the showers with the marble type showers gave out hot water which didn’t make sense. In addition, we looked around for a light switch in the garage when we wanted to do our laundry but there was no switch to be found. The front entrance inside and out had cobwebs on the ceiling which should have been cleaned but was not. The outside upper and lower deck was not cleaned. The chairs were not cleaned. We had to sweep and clean the chairs to use it. I would have to agree with a past review based on the accessibility to the lake. It is a rather steep decline & incline to get to the dock and may prevent those physically unable to enjoy the lake.
