You and your family and friends will love this 5-bedroom 5½-bath luxury custom-built mountain home. Enjoy the open floor plan with incredible views of the Smoky Mountains from this cabin nestled in the heart of Thunder Mountain and designed for you and your family to make memories together. It provides a peaceful escape from your everyday life with endless and breathtaking mountain views – including Mount Leconte – from all 5 bedrooms, the great room, game room, and loft. And there are no scary mountain roads or tight switchbacks to navigate to get here!
You will love the many opportunities you have to relax and enjoy the theater, game room, very well-equipped kitchen, five spacious bedrooms with views (and upgraded mattresses and mattress pads), two cozy gas fireplaces, and over 2000 square feet of outdoor space on the main and lower-level decks – not to mention a front porch for endless views while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
You might even decide to unwind after a long day in a more tranquil setting at either the wood burning fire pit with a view of the mountain ridge or soaking in the roomy six-seat hot tub. Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong.
Moonlight Mountain Ridge is situated in a beautiful area close enough to provide easy access to nearby destinations but removed enough to provide the space and peace you need on vacation to rejuvenate and recharge. With plentiful and easily-accessible parking, this will be a perfect home base whether you decide to take a trip into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, head to Dollywood or Splash Country, or venture to what we call the “Peaceful Side of the Smokies” in Townsend, where you can float down the river, check out the Wye, or have dinner at one of the popular food and/or drink destinations like Peaceful Side Social, Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, or Company Distilling. No matter your destination for the day, Moonlight Mountain Ridge will be waiting on you when you return and will not disappoint.
Family and friends can enjoy all the amenities Moonlight Mountain Ridge has to offer. Sunsets are to be enjoyed in the front of the house, and the “Moonlight Mountain Ridge” comes to life in the back of the house with gorgeous views of the moon and stars on clear nights. The lower level of the home brings a whole bunch of fun for the entire family. You will find a TV mounted above the indoor fireplace in the game room, where you can play 60+ games on the free-standing arcade system, shoot some pool, play cards on the pub table, or challenge each other to a game of shuffleboard. You may want to sit in a comfy chair in the movie room and watch a movie or show on the 65” TV. If that’s not enough, just outside the game room, on the lower deck, you will find space for cornhole and Giant Jenga. As amazing as the interior of the cabin is, the exterior will leave you breathless. The decks on the cabin are open and spacious with seating for the entire family to relax and reflect on the day's activities. If you just want to unwind from a busy day, you will be right at home in the hot tub, wooden swing on the back porch, numerous rocking chairs, or sitting by a real-wood fire at the fire pit. Once you settle in, you will have plenty to do and you may not want to leave.

Our jaws dropped as we entered this huge, comfortable, very well outfitted luxury home with incredible decks with lots of comfy chairs to sit with your coffee or after dinner wine and take in all the beauty of the Smokey Mountains!!! We cooked lots of meals, played games on the deck, loved the blaze of the upper deck fire pit! Grand girls enjoyed hot tub, and Grammy went strolling the street to catch a gorgeous sunset!!!!
Family enjoyed trips to all 3 nearby towns and attractions. Then came home weary to sleep well in all the comfy beds! Lots of bathrooms and beds, TV's and nice game room, movie room, huge living areas and a very nicely equipped kitchen. Huge refrigerator to hold groceries and drinks from nearby grocery stores. Lots of room to give one another space to do their own thing!!! So clean and furnished so nicely, we felt like royalty!! Hosts were prompt in answering any concerns. An awesome home for our much needed family vacation! I wish we could come visit these mountains in the fall. A great home for a family reunion or a multi-couples trip!!! Thank you for our memorable stay in your lovely home!!!

This house is absolutely FABULOUS !! Jeremy and Debbi built a beautiful home with every comfort you can ask for.
They are such gracious hosts and are there for you with any questions or concerns. They help with suggestions for every part of your trip. Our family enjoyed every minute at the house. Beautiful views out of every window. There was plenty of room for everyone ( there were 10 of us) to have their own private space, but also a big kitchen, large family room, and 2 huge decks to gather as a family. The house was very clean, kitchen well equipped , and plenty of cozy, comfortable recliners/sofas to relax in. This vacation will be a cherished family memory and having Moonlight Mountain Ridge to stay in made it PERFECT.

We enjoyed out stay in this wonderful house in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Just our luck it was full moon week! We made so many wonderful family memories, the photos are amazing. The lay out of the open space great room and kitchen were perfect. The game room, hot tub, porch swing and fire pit were great entertainment for the 3, 5 and 7 year old grandkids!

The description does not do this property justice. What an amazing home. From the views, to decor, to the organization!!! I thought I was an organized, detailed person, until I walked in to this home.
I cook a lot on vacations and always bring my own pots, pans, knives, etc. I shouldn't have bothered, on this rental. Owners thought of everything. Debbi was great to work with and very responsive.
The basement level was PERFECT for 5 boys aged 14-22!!!!

We had a wonderful time at this very new home overlooking the mountains. The house was top notch furniture, games, hot tub, decor, kitchen supplies, and fire table. The whole place was awesome and plenty of space for everyone. Adults spent the most time around the fire table outside enjoying the view and conversation. Kids loved the pool table and shuffle board and hot tub. Great location for a car ride to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would highly recommend! The hosts thought of everything from tons of pillows to blankets to crockpots, etc. Hosts were very responsive to questions as well. Wonderful experience!

We stayed in this house over New Years, for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The house was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. We had beautiful views of mountains and trees, and even got a couple of mornings when the tops of the hills were covered in snow.
The owners left the Christmas tree up, which we really appreciated, as well as New Year’s Eve party hats and noise makers.
The bedrooms were spacious, we had plenty of bathrooms for our big group (3 families with kids) and the kids really enjoyed the lower level which had a pool table, shuffle board, and a room set up as a movie theatre.
The kitchen was well stocked, and having all drawers, cupboard and light switches labeled was extremely helpful.

The photos of this home do not do it justice. We had a three family “reunion” here this past week with seven adults and 8 kids (ages 1-11) and everything from the moment we pulled in the driveway to the moment we left the was above our expectations. The home is surrounded by other beautiful cabins and sits near the very top of the hill. It’s also conveniently located just minutes from the main strip of Pigeon Forge.
Debbi, the host, was very intentional with her communication from the beginning of our booking, checking in during our stay, and following up upon check out. The cabin held everything we could have wanted - great room layouts, comfortable and ample furniture, lots of natural light, and it was the cleanest home we’ve rented. We also commented that we loved how thoroughly labeled all the drawers, light switches, etc were.
The kitchen was fully equipped and we had everything needed to make a complete Thanksgiving dinner (only exception was we made Turkey ahead of time). The cabin even came with a Tupperware drawer which helped with storing all the leftovers.
The kids loved the arcade game, giant Jenga, and movie room while us adults spent a lot of time on the deck near the gas firepit overlooking the mountains, lounging inside by the fireplace, and competing in games of pool late into the night.
All three families were beyond impressed with the cabin and we would stay here again in a heartbeat if we visit the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area again.

We had a wonderful stay in October! The cabin was perfect for our family group spanning three generations with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Our family of 12 came to celebrate our mom’s 70th birthday. The home was absolutely perfect and accommodating. We had day and dinner plans Saturday but everyone voted to cancel and just stay home. We had a great time playing games, enjoying the fire pit and cooking dinner. Would highly recommend.

This was the greatest couples vacation we have ever taken. The Smoky Mountain National Park was great. The home we stayed at was top notch. The owners were very responsive to the few needs we had and any questions we posed. It was hard to leave the place for our hikes and excursions bc we enjoyed the home so much. Fantastic views. We have vacationed before at places that claim a “well stocked kitchen” and it wasn’t. This was and since we prepare most of our meals having the right cooking/baking pans and utensils and plenty of plates, glasses, and silverware was great. We can’t say enough about all the comfortable furniture and beds. Having a big living area for 4 couples to enjoy together was super. Since they have recently taken over property management, they also asked us to let them know anything that we thought would help improve their rental. And there really wasn’t much we could think of to make our stay any better.

This property is AMAZING! The attention to even the smallest detail is what makes this home stand out from other places we’ve stayed. The layout of the home is just perfect in that it provides gorgeous views from every room in the house. The spacious upper and lower decks with partially open privacy walls were perfect to hide away and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. The landscape is new, and it’s obviously a priority for the owners – lots of new trees in the yard, and wildflowers in the back of the cabin, and even a little herb garden.
The kitchen was another plus for our family. It is well-equipped with everything we needed to cook: a nice blender, mixer, food processor, crockpot, etc. Everything was tastefully labelled, which didn’t take away from the décor and was very helpful when I was looking for what I needed.
I was completely won over by the cleanliness of this home. I have stayed in places where I have literally had to clean before I could relax, but this place was immaculate and squeaky clean so our vacation began immediately. All bathrooms (including the half bath) had hair dryers, curling iron hot pads, handheld mirrors, and toothbrush holders. The beds were so comfortable.
The host went above and beyond to communicate with us and answer any questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend Moonlight Mountain Ridge to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

This home is beautiful, inside & out, clean & beautifully decorated! The owners have thought of every detail to make guests feel at home. If you need it, it’s there… a very well stocked kitchen, extra seating everywhere, beanbags for the kids, sound machines in every bedroom, hair dryers in all the bathrooms, plenty of towels… really, everything you could need has been provided. The beautiful neighborhood around the home is still under construction, so there are construction sounds & supplies around, but it’s otherwise a nice quiet area. All you hear at night is a nearby whippoorwill & other wildlife. The area is freshly cleared, so right now there are bare yards & downed trees, but the spectacular view of the mountains is all you see when seated on one of the huge decks by the gas fire pit, or on the porch swing. There was a glitch with the cleaning schedule & our check-in, but it was promptly taken care of & the owners were great, even checked on things personally to make sure it was made right. I would definitely recommend this beautiful mountain home, & hope to stay there again myself!

Words can’t even describe the beauty of this cabin! It’s top of the line everything including mattresses and sheets! The decks with breathtaking views and the oversized hot tub! We felt like we were in a dream and didn’t want to leave. We did see bear so definitely lock cars and don’t leave food in vehicles. Another cabin had a bear in the back of the truck eating. The owners were fabulous.

The first word I think of to describe this property is AMAZING! Every single thing was perfect! The house is absolutely beautiful and the layout was perfect for our mixed group of family and friends. There was plenty to do at the house and everyone enjoyed the decks with the beautiful mountain views. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. One thing that was a sure winner in my book was the cleanliness of the home. Usually I feel the need to completely clean when I arrive to stay somewhere but this home was spotless and ready for us to just relax and enjoy. This cabin has anything you could need. The layout was great for our group as we had 3 different families staying together. The hot tub is huge and all the bean bag chairs are comfy and fun twist! Corn hole and the other games were a blast. Smores and hot dogs on the back deck looking at the beautiful mountains was perfection. Property management was great to work with and very responsive. There are two things we would recommend being aware of. 1. There is a ton of construction still going on in the area and the wind can get a little crazy and bring debris with it from the other houses still being built. We wore sandals any time we were out on the decks as we noted some debris ended up there. There isn't much that can be done about it other than being aware until the cabins around it are completed. 2. The Wi-Fi can be spotty. We run a 24/7 business and we had to find areas of the cabin that had signal. This may be better once the area is built up more as well.
Overall, we definitely recommend staying! Now go book your trip!

Our family of 10 enjoyed an early spring vacation at this beautiful, well-constructed, clean, and well-appointed property. The check-in/check-out was seamless, the communication with the property manager was quick and efficient, and the location was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed having coffee on the porch while watching the sun come up over the mountains. My kids enjoyed watching the sun go down while sitting in the very clean hot tub. We all enjoyed the game room. We would highly recommend this property.

From the time we booked the Moonlight Mountain Ridge until we left, our experience was great! The property manager, Kim, was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed. We felt so welcomed, and it was obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought into every detail. The views were absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed the deck and the huge fire pit. There was even a note in the welcome info to let us know that they had provided wood for us.
There is a large living room on the main floor and the views are spectacular from there – and from all of the bedrooms.
We were amazed at how well-stocked the kitchen is. They had more than enough dishes, glasses, bowls, etc, but also had baking pans, a food processor, two coffee makers (regular and pod), and things like whisks and citrus juicers that we do not usually see in the rentals we stay in.
Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We searched to find a place where all the rooms had mountain views – not just the master bedroom. This cabin definitely delivered! The bathrooms were all equipped with hair dryers, curling iron hot pads, handheld mirrors, toothbrush holders, and full-length mirrors. Another detail we loved was having multiple outlets (w/USB ports) next to every bed. Every bedroom had its own tv with satellite and the internet was great the entire stay.
With the hot tub, cornhole boards, arcade game, pool table, and shuffleboard, there was plenty to do. We loved it!

We loved the cabin! You can tell the owner spared no expense on the workmanship and quality of everything used to build this cabin. Our only thing was the listing said 5 baths but there was 3 and 1/2. Wasn’t a big deal only including this part so it can be fixed by the listing….
