Summary:
Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Village of Pinehurst and walking distance of Pinehurst Course #2. The exquisite Tremont Cottage is rich in history and tradition and is only a one minute walk from a unique combination of cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences. The Tremont has a private pool with a fenced in backyard, gas fire pit, outside dining table, and a pool table inside. This Cottage provides memorable experiences and comforts of home.

The Space:
Set in the heart of the historic village, Tremont Cottage was built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts. Renovations and upgrades combine all the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with the modern conveniences everyone wants. The Tremont was carefully prepared to make guests feel welcomed and have all the comforts of home.
Four bedrooms, including two master suites (one on the first floor) and three full baths plus a powder room are furnished with period antiques and hand-knotted rugs throughout. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with special features including granite countertops and stainless appliances. One of the many amenities we provide are drip-brewed and Keurig coffee makers along with complimentary coffee to make your stay more comfortable. There is a large game room with a pool table, chess board, and board games in case you are not ready to wind down for the day.
French doors open to a beautiful brick terrace with lush landscaping and lighting that guides you to the refreshing pool and cozy fire pit. A large dining table awaits a gathering outside whether you are just relaxing or having a delicious lunch or dinner. This Cottage has everything you need for a perfect vacation!

Other Things to Note:
- A Rental Agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
- Two fireplaces on the first floor. One is inoperable and the other is an operable gas fireplace.

Access is easy-breezy - NO KEYS TO LOSE! You will have your own unique access code good for the duration of your stay. No worries about going extra places to get keys or having to make beds on your own. Simply show up for your vacation, instant access, beds made - time to RELAX!

Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. Laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets even a first aid kit that came in handy. The pool table was fun and they had plenty of puzzles and board games. The pool and grill area was perfect and relaxing and pool towels were provided. Plenty of televisions with you tube tv and lots of streaming services. We would definitely stay again:)

The home is well kept and stocked. The pool table, games, pool, fire pit, and grill are great to keep everyone in the family entertained! Proximity to the village with assorted shops and restaurants adds to the convenience of the property.

Excellent location in Pinehurst. Beautiful house. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. Communication with the owners couldn’t have been better. Friendly owners, great property. Loved our stay.

overall wonderful experience. Everything in the house was exactly as listed. Lovely pool area and sitting area outside. The kitchen was well appointed and able to easily cook several meals. Host was extremely responsive. Overall just a perfect little getaway in the Pinehurst area!

Property is in a perfect location - right in the center of Pinehurst and in walking distance of some key local establishments (e.g., Maxie's). In addition to the location being a "quality" location from the sleeping perspective, there were other amenities that were found to be useful (e.g., pool table, fire pit, swimming pool.) The house aside... Paul was a spectacular host. He made himself available the duration of the trip and helped address any minor question that we had. If the stars align and this VRBO house is available, we will book again for next year's stay!

What a great property! Super location just a few minutes walk from The Holly Inn, Dugan's Pub, Drum and Quill and all that the Village has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed the house, pool, and pool table, and Paul was great to work with.

We loved spending Easter weekend here! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The grill, fire pit and pool are wonderful and you can easily walk to anything you would need in the village or to the resort. Highly recommend!

Repeat renters. Love this place. So close you can walk to anywhere in Pinehurst. Wife and I were there for our 10th anniversary and everything was perfect. Owner was extremely welcoming and readily available to answer any questions within minutes! Will absolutely be returning!!! Thinking about it already...

The location steps away from downtown and quick walk/ride to Pinehurst golf made this property great for the golfers in our family. The house is exceptionally beautiful inside and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve, the owner, was welcoming and helpful. Outstanding!

Everything about this property is amazing. The house itself is so adorable and welcoming. The little parlor room was our favorite. It was cozy and just a space we all gathered to watch tv. The location was perfect! It was just a short walk to The Holly, and the shops in the village. We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone coming to Pinehurst!

We had a wonderful time in Pinehurst and that was primarily due to Steve's house and his hospitality. We used the pool, pool table and fire pit and made delicious meals in the user friendly kitchen. Oh yeah, the golf around Pinehurst was excellent too! We will definitely be back!
