Welcome to Lake Escape’s Sun-Kissed! Sun-Kissed may be small in stature but it's mighty in comfort and beauty! This gem has wide open water views with magical sunsets. The house is decorated in mid-century modern but has all of the conveniences of today.

This charming home on the shores of Lake Norman features 3 cozy queen bedrooms on the main level, each designed for a peaceful night's sleep with soft linens and snuggly comforters. The main level also features a full bathroom with all of the fluffy towels you need, a compact kitchen fully equipped with everything you want to whip up a meal, a comfortable living room with plenty of seating for everyone where you can stream your favorite shows on the 58" TV and a dining area with magical views of the lake. Step outside on the deck to sit and enjoy your breakfast al fresco while taking in the Lake Norman's beauty.

Downstairs you'll find a spacious family room, perfect for game nights. It features an air hockey table, pinball, Atari Legends Arcade, Connect4, a 65" TV, a Marshall bluetooth speaker along with a slew of board games to keep you busy for hours. In addition to this "gameroom" there is another queen bedroom and a full bathroom on the lower level. There's also a small office area, in case you need to catch up on work or just want to check your emails.

Step outside onto the back patio and you'll find a fun-filled area with ping pong and lounge furniture, perfect for hanging out with friends and family. You'll also have access to a private dock where you can relax, fish, boat or swim in the lake.

For the more adventurous, there are complimentary kayaks and paddleboards available for your use along with life vests in all sizes, so you can explore the lake at your leisure. And when the sun starts to set, gather around the firepit and roast marshmallows while you enjoy the tranquil sounds of the water and the evening air.

* Security deposit of $750 will be reserved 3 days prior to arrival (see House Rules below).
* Maximum Overnight Occupancy for Sun-Kissed is 8 guests.
* Maximum Daytime Occupancy for Sun-Kissed is 12 guests.
* All Lake Escape homes are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs ($150 per pet fee applies) Cats are not permitted.
* Unlimited, Complimentary firewood is provided.
* Complimentary propane is provided for use with the outdoor grill.
* Complimentary kayaks, standup paddleboards and lifevests are provided.
* All of our homes feature private docks. Please check with us to confirm depth at specific homes as lake levels change seasonally.

This is our 7th year staying on Lake Norman and our 6th house. This house ranks as one of the best. Affordable, clean, great lake access, great amenities, good location, and wonderful communication with the owners. My family and I loved it! Thank you, Jessica, for the great week in your home.

The house was wonderful! We had 2 adults and 3 kids and a dog. It sits right on the water and has a private dock. We rented a boat while we were there. The owners thought of everything we may need during our stay. The amenities were amazing. The beds were also super comfy. The house is in a cute neighborhood in a circle. The neighbors were very friendly while walking our dog. It was also close to dining, shopping and grocery stores. My kids had a blast jumping off the dock and swinging in the hammock chairs. I would definitely recommend this house and the other properties. Thank you for making our first trip to lake Norman a success!

This was by far the best lake house we have ever stayed at and look forward to returning! The house was immaculate and was a perfect location on the water and close enough to shopping and dining in town. The house was quiet and offered so much to do inside and out. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The downstairs game room was the best! Perfect spot for our family to play cards/games and hang out in the evenings. Our adult sons loved being able to walk out of the game room to play ping pong on the patio, swim and fish and then come back in to cool off for some tv and indoor games. The patio was nice for lounging and reading and the dock was amazing. It offered easy access for swimming and great for water sports and fishing. Overall we loved staying at this house. Jess was a pleasure to deal with as well! 10/10

Pristine! Sometimes when they indicate - 'supplies' - you get some things so I always bring my own. Did not use a single thing I brought. The house was immaculate. I've never seen a more well-stocked kitchen with plates, cups, silverware, utensils, cooking things - Not even my own! Cozy, fluffy towels. Water pressure on the showers was very good. Well-appointed and comfy all over the house. The view was wonderful and the covered porch was great. Perfect for the rainy weather we had. Location was good, easy to find. Truly a wonderful stay for us 60-somethings to just enjoy. (and the video/pinball machines were great! Reliving our childhood)

Our group loved our stay at Sun-Kissed. The house was very clean and well-appointed. Check-in and check-out were easy, and Jessica was quick to answer any questions and a pleasure to work with. I'd rent this house and from Lake Escape again!

We came in to town in preparation for a move later this year and wanted to get a taste of the “lake life” - this home was perfect! It was so well stocked with very thoughtful touches! My kids used the Alexa’s in the bedrooms to listen to music at night, we played the games, kayaked, and enjoyed hanging on the dock and fishing. The owners were very easy to communicate with and made the check out process a breeze! Would absolutely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our Easter weekend with our 2 adult girls and their spouses. The house was just right for our stay. The furnishings were clean and comfortable. The amount of water toys and inside and outside games provided was incredible and we always had something to do. The yard, patio and porches were clean and perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The dock looks brand new and we loved sitting and fishing overlooking the water. The firepit was a big extra and thanks so much for the use of the firewood! The location was so close to the grocery, restaurants and anything we needed. Thanks for a great time. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at a Lake Escape property. We stayed at Sun-Kissed this time, and it was wonderful! The house had plenty of room, with all the amenities you need to have a great long weekend at the lake. I highly recommend Lake Escape Vacations!

We had a wonderful stay at Sun-Kissed! Its a lovely lake cottage that has everything you need for an awesome experience. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked. It is one of the best rental homes we've stayed at. There are so many little touches and so much attention to detail it makes for a truly wonderful experience. There are so many fun things to do not only on the water (dock, kayaks, paddle board, float) but so many games as well (ping pong, air hockey, pinball, board games, etc.) The Lake Escape team (especially Jessica) were incredibly responsive and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will definitely rent from them again!

We live in South Charlotte area and enjoyed a long weekend vacay at Lake Norman. The house was in a very convenient location near I-77. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Simple things that usually aren’t included were provided. Like basic spices, cooking spray and flour and sugar and coffee. Plenty of TP, Paper Towels aluminum foil, saran wrap, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. Plus plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Also lots of beach towels, life jackets, dock chairs and lounge chairs. It made it so easy to pack for this trip. The hosts were very kind and easy to access. The house was comfortable for our family of 7. We enjoyed 3 fun beautiful days out on the rock and boat we rented from a local marina.

Our stay was GREAT. I can't think of one thing in the house or outside that wasn't included. The kids and adults had a marvelous time, we always busy doing something. The house was very clean and comfortable. if I could give our experience more than 5 stars I would. Jessica is very easy to deal with and answers all texts or emails promptly. I'm sure we will rent again through Lake Escapes. Their attention to detail was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay on the Lake, Jess & family.
