Fancy a fantastic stay on the beautiful Central Oregon Coast? Charlie's Cove will elevate your vacation with upscale, contemporary furnishings and terrific amenities, plus ocean views and easy access to the delights of Depoe Bay. Newly constructed and designed for comfort, this three-level, four-bedroom home has a congenial gathering space on the main level. The beautifully appointed kitchen is angled into the living space, with an island sink that looks out to both the living room and the ocean. Quartz counters, upscale appliances, a gas stove and lots of small appliances—including an espresso machine—make cooking for a crowd a pleasure. A formal dining room is fit for a feast, with a high ceiling and cushioned chairs. Plenty of living room seating centers around a large gas fireplace and TV, with access to a deck that wraps around the exterior of the home for views of the forest and sea. Includes a half bath on this level as well.
Upstairs is a sumptuous ocean-view king suite with a high hexagonal window, TV, and full bath with a walk-in shower. A queen suite also with an en suite bathroom, and a twin daybed on the landing make this an easy home to share with another family. The kids will take possession of the lower level, where a queen bedroom joins a bonus room equipped with a TV, X Box, full-size Arcade Game, and a full-size bathroom with a bathtub on this level! That’s not all—there’s a ping-pong table in the garage plus you can power up your electric car with the EV charger, and access the private, fenced-in hot tub.
You’ll be an easy walk to Depoe Bay’s lineup of shops, restaurants, and the amazing seawall that fronts the bay and offers gorgeous rocky surf, seabirds and the occasional whale spout. The rich kelp beds around the bay make this a year-round feeding ground for grey whales, and it’s easy to catch a whale-watching trip out of the harbor to see them up close. Newport’s extensive working Bayfront and the Oregon Coast Aquarium are a half hour to the south; Lincoln City’s outlet mall and Chinook Winds Casino are the same distance to the north. Close by, you’ll find craft beer, restaurants, a bakery, art, and a spa and golf at Salishan, and in between, loads of beaches, rocky overlooks, and trail hiking.
