About this cottage rental
Traditional Cotswold limestone cottage with high standard modern amenities. Peaceful setting, stunning views and wonderful walking. Only 20 minutes walk from the market town of Stroud with it’s famous farmers market, cafes, restaurants and artisan shops.
The cottage sleeps up to 6 in 3 double bedrooms which are on two floors (bathroom on each floor).
Perfect for a short break or a family holiday.
Gastro pubs, ice-cream factory and cafes can all be part of a walk on the stunning commons.
The space
The ground floor entrance leads to the modern kitchen and dining room beyond. The hall is equipped with storage and coat hooks for outside wear. A Kitchen island provides quick eating for 2 people whilst the Georgian trestle table and chairs in the dining room seats 6. A door leads to the double -windowed sitting room with views over the cotswold hills to Thrupp. A sliding french window from the dining room leads to the patio and well-maintained garden with barbecue and large outside table and chairs. There is external lighting to the patio.
Stairs to the first floor lead to the master bedroom and shower room with underfloor heating. A small room on this floor is locked for secure storage for the owner.
A further flight of stairs (quite steep) leads to the top floor with two further double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole cottage and outside space with the exception of the small locked room on the first floor for storage by the owner.
Other things to note
There is one dedicated parking space outside of the living room. Right hand drive cars should drive past the cottage and turn round outside the garages further down the lane and return in order to park with driver’s door on the outside. Left hand drive cars park on approaching the cottage.
There are communal parking spaces before the cottage in the lane and beside the garages beyond the cottage. The lane is narrow so there is no street parking in the lane.
Please be sensitive to living in a small rural community.
