AMAZING!!!!!!we love this place. It’s so relaxing and yet u leave feeling like a new you. We stayed in the bridal suite and it was above our expectations. The bath tub was the best part. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, smelled clean and crisp. Check was fast and easy!!!check out was simple. Food is great.we ate and drank at the restaurant. And when you’re done you can walk back to your cabin. Overall we highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful property they have created at the Tahquitz Pines Retreat. The grounds and landscaping were absolutely beautiful (we visited in the fall). The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. It wasn't super luxurious, but it was a good value.

The property is located in a beautiful are 5 min from town. Our main complaint is that the cabins have paper thin walls and you can hear everything going on next door. Our neighbors decided to have a party or something and we could hear kids running around and yelling both outside and inside until about 2am and we could not sleep. I called and texted the hotel (including the after hours line) but no one ever responded. I get that this is not the hotels fault but there should be someone that could go over and ask people to not have a party at 1am.

The accommodation itself wasn’t bad. Since we arrived late for check-in, the accommodation manager allowed us to check in via phone, and we were assigned Room 29. We had booked a 3-bedroom unit, but when we arrived around 9 p.m., the room we were given was a studio with only one double bed. The accommodation manager was unresponsive, but there was an emergency contact number posted at the office. When we called, we were told there were no 3-bedroom units available, and they offered two 2-bedroom units instead. We agreed, but when we tried the provided password, the door wouldn’t open. We had to wait outside in the cold with young children for 30 minutes. The next day, when we went to the office to check out, the staff didn’t even offer an apology. Instead, they asked, “So, do you want a refund?” in a dismissive tone, which was very disappointing. For the record, we neither requested nor received a refund.

The room floors were not even. There was a large slope to the room. The grounds were very pretty. But the restaurant had a 2 hour wait and was fairly small.

Picked this location for my GF Bday and we definitely enjoyed the room, besides the crying baby next door haha, but over all a Great Location just 4min from the downtown shops and restaurants 🙂

My family and I stayed there over Thanksgiving weekend for the annual Idyllwild tree lighting. We all absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for our family, it was nicely renovated, beautiful grounds,and it was very clean! We will definitely be back for longer stays!

The grounds of Tahquitz Pines are absolutely stunning. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. However, the most standout part of this visit was the customer service. We ended up near some noisy neighbors and they were so accommodating and were able to relocate us. We felt very taken care of and it meant a lot because it was our anniversary weekend. I would highly recommend Tahquitz Pines to anyone staying in Idyllwild!

The expansive property is a gem in Idyllwild. The grounds are well kept and has extensive lighting at night. Our room was clean and has all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

I checked late around 7 pm so it was done as an echeck in, it was dark but I understand the town itself is very dark at night, so it was hard to find the room at first, but the room was very spacious I love the separation of toilet and shower, it was very quiet for Halloween. Idk if there was any room service, I ventured out to town for dinner and breakfast the next morning. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Beautiful resort with lush landscaping. The rooms are in small groupings scattered throughout the grounds and there are many different types of accommodations. It was wonderful to sit out on the patio. Had difficulty with the TV and someone showed up promptly to help. Did have to pick up a couple of small pieces of trash off the floor.

We LOVED this resort! From the service to the amenities (we loved the pickleball courts, the pool, the basketball court, and the game room) to the restaurant on site, it was a perfect getaway for our family. We are already trying to plan our next trip.

Love Tahquitz Lodge so much! This is my second time staying here in less than a month! The beds are so comfortable... And this time we enjoyed the pool and the pickleball courts.

A great location in Idyllwild area; Very pretty grounds and functional room with good outdoor areas with seating and good places to walk. Trash cans were a bit small:) Door handles to toilet and shower required a 'large arc of moiton' for my wrist with arthritis.Good parking close to room. Beautiful occasional views of Tahquitz.

The property and cabin were very well kept, convenient to town but far enough away to feel somewhat secluded. The only downside was that the front desk woman wasn’t the friendliest, and there was a $25 charge to check in two hours early despite the room already being cleaned and ready.

The property and grounds were spectacular for a short getaway. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and had plenty of room for 3 adults. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be coming back.

Such a lovely resort and friendly staff. Two Golden Retrievers travelled with me and were greeted everywhere. Good restaurant and the gorgeous Idyllwild scenery on all sides.
