Saleté des équipements et indifférence du personnel

Saleté et inconfort extrême des équipements (morceaux de nourriture collés aux draps, matelas troué) mais on savait qu’il fallait s’y attendre au vu de l’offre proposée. En revanche, on a été très désagréablement étonnés par l’accueil glacial du personnel (ils étaient surpris qu’on ne réserve qu’une chambre pour deux hommes) et surtout par leur manque totale d’aide pour nous faire quitter l’île à temps voulu (alors qu’ils nous assuraient qu’il ne fallait pas s’inquiéter), nous avons dû demander à d’autres établissements de nous aider.

Relaxing break and delicious food in beautiful surroundings.

We had a wi ferrules time on Rabbit Island. Samon and his staff were so helpful and engaging. We had some lovely chats with Samon; super guy with excellent English. The outside facilities were lovely. Loads of places do relax in the sun and shade; hammocks, chairs, sofas etc. They have an excellent chef and we had lots of seafood caught just off the beach. Please go to Rabbit Island; it’s lovely to go somewhere which isn’t a constant party.

Overall, the stay at Fat Rabbit was a lot of fun, the staff were lovely and helpful, and we all slept on the way home, b

The location is perfect, as it’s away from the loud partying resorts. Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. A simple and rustic feel, but still a pleasure to stay. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The bungalow was a little lacking in facilities. No toilet seat on the toilet, with just a bucket and ladle, for all other water (very Khmer). Theres nothing wrong with this, but it’s worth knowing, if you like your comforts. The mosquito net doesn’t really fit the bed, so it was difficult getting in and out of bed. And there’s only one hammock for relaxing. No other chairs except on the beach, and no power from about 4am to 6pm. So you’re kinda forced to find somewhere comfortable on the beach to relax, which is sometimes a little difficult. Lastly, the room was a little dirty when we arrived, and the bed had sand in it.

Das perfekte Inselparadies um mal ein paar Tage abzuschalten!

Simon und seine Crew haben hier am Ende des Strandes ein kleines Inselparadies geschaffen. Kleine Holzhütten mit dem nötigsten (Bett, Moskitonetz, Hängematte, Schöpftoilette und Dusche). Man fällt quasi direkt aus der Tür ins klare, warme Meer. Holztische, ein Lagerfeuer und Lampions in den Bäumen sorgen für eine loungige Atmosphäre, und das ganz ohne touristisches PartyBumBum. Kaffee und Essen sind top, und das alles zum mehr als fairen Preis. Simon nimmt sich auch gerne Zeit für längere Gespräche, bei denen man noch viel über Kambodscha erfahren kann. Strom gibt es nur in den Abendstunden, Internet ist faktisch nicht vorhanden. Stört aber nicht. Hier kann man einfach mal abschalten. Danke, Simon!
