This lovely mid terrace property is set just a short walk from the beautiful Ludlow Castle, offering guests spacious and comfortable living accommodation. The property is part of the Ludlow Castle Estate and can be booked with three other properties set within the walls of the castle, Prince Arthur and Catherine (UKC4032), Comus (UKC4034) and Sir Henry Sidney (UKC4033) and is situated just a short walk from the castle itself. The accommodation consists of on the ground floor, a living room with comfortable seating and Smart TV, dining room with another sofa and bluetooth speaker, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and separate toilet. On the first floor are two bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin room, along with a large bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle. The garden to the rear of the property has patio space and private garden furniture, and a large lawned area, all enclosed. If on road parking isn’t available, a space at Ludlow Castle is designated for the house.
Ludlow town offers guests a wide variety of things to do and sights to see; it is overshadowed by its own majestic castle, as it was once, like York, a seat of government in Tudor and Stuart England. It hosts the famous Food Festivals and events throughout the year, there is always a lively atmosphere in the town. It has a reputation for fine foods, speciality and antique shops, and even a racecourse. The castle hosts a number of events that run throughout the year, including being a beautiful spot for weddings. There are many walks in and around the town and guests can walk to explore the town or to visit one of the many pubs or restaurants. An excellent base to explore the unrivalled countryside for picnicking and walking, or nearby towns such as Bridgnorth and Bewdley with the Severn Valley Railway, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock, Church Stretton, Tenbury Wells and Leominster. The cathedral city of Hereford with its chained library and Mappa Mundi are all within a short drive, as are historic houses such as Witley Court, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Stokesay and Powis Castle on the Welsh borders. The property boasts an enviable position in the town close to many town amenities and within easy walking distance.
