About this cottage rental
The Old Rectory, Largs, North Ayrshire, sleeps fourteen in seven bedrooms.
The Old Rectory consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dining seating at breakfast bar and a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove, a utility with washing machines and tumble dryers and a cloakroom. The bedrooms consist of two doubles with en-suite shower rooms and TVs, one ground-floor double, one double with TV, one double with TV and basin, one twin with en-suite shower room and a ground-floor twin, plus a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, furniture, fire pit and hammock, Log-fired hot tub, plus off-road parking for five cars. Within 0.5 miles or less there is a shop, a pub and a beach, and please note this is a smoke-free and pet-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent. Town: Located on the Firth of Clyde, the town of Largs is a traditional Scottish seaside resort, with a Victorian promenade situated just over 30 miles from Glasgow. Largs offers a variety of shops, including some chain and some independent stores, plus there are several pubs and restaurants. Visit Vikingar, a family Viking experience or enjoy the amusement arcades on the promenade whilst indulging in an ice-cream. Photographers amongst you can capture the wonderful views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Cumbrae located just a mile offshore, or perhaps take the short ferry trip across to explore this most accessible Scottish island. In summer months you can enjoy a cruise on the Waverley Paddle Steamer. The Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park offers walking and cycling for everyone, as well as a range of wildlife to spot. Visit Kelburn Castle with its 13th century castle adorned with graffiti from a group of Brazilian artists, or meander around the scenic grounds. A day trip to Glasgow is also worth a visit just being over thirty miles away with its vast array of shops and cultural experiences. With sailing and golf on the doorstep too, Largs really does have something for everyone.
