stylish interior great location to discover inner city helpful staff when available

very poor wifi extra costs for parking no replenishment of pool towels over several hours closet shelves seemingly not cleaned in quite some time second large towel removed from bathroom after first night despite obvious usage of room by two people

It was a pleasure and will use then again.

Staff were very friendly and Efficient. Room service was good and vert quick. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was an issue with WiFi in Windhoek but the hotel did advise us and gave us multiple options to link to and I did manage to get my work done.

Choose the next-door Hilton Windhoek!

Great location, good window view. Comfortable, yet comparatively small room (called King Size) with nice bathroom with a shower.

Comparatively small room. Staff were too superficial in attending guests needs, yet they tried - still very slow in responding to requests (it took them 2 hrs to provide slippers for instance). Some of them spoke poor English. Breakfast could have been better in terms of choice. I stayed at Hilton Windhoek which is a next-door Hilton, and I would recommend Hilton Windhoek instead of Hilton Garden Inn. Yet, for one night only it is OK.

The enteral location is a plus for someone who has to move around for work purpose. The room is spacious and warm. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The food at the restaurant was good and tasty.

Nothing much apart from a smell of sewage almost everyday around the reception area and sometimes in the corridor.

Perfect stay!

Perfect location near all the main tourist attractions Room was clean and modern, with multiple power outlets I got to use the gym and pool at the main Hilton building while enjoying a beautiful sunset from the rooftop Excellent experience!

Just was not worth the hassles especially from a Hilton brand

The location and been the Hilton

Well we did stay here at the start of our holiday and again at the end for 2 nites. We never in our dreams thought that we would encounter the same problems. AC did not work, missing panel above ceiling in bathroom and accessories in bathroom missing. After reporting to reception, a tech was sent to fix the issues which did not solve the issues. There was no urgency from Hilton staff to rectify the issue, the room was steaming hot, I had to demand that we be allocated another room which was the case in the end. I find the Hilton servicing of rooms are very poorly executed and this reflects badly on the Hilton brand. In the end we had a good 2 nites stay but just to go through all the hassles was not worth it. Will not be back in a hurry.

For Hilton standards it was a shocker

Location and breakfast was good

Servicing was very bad, the room we got was not fully serviced, towels were missing, aircon did not work, toilet seat broken. We reported and had to endure the night without AC. Shocking really for Hilton standards as we are booked to stay again after our travel's around Namibia. Hopeful we don't endure the same problems

Great property but please don't clean rooms at 8AM!

This is a new property around the downtown area. I liked the size of the rooms and the breakfast included in the tariff was good too. Overall, the staff was hospitable and I'd recommend to fellow travellers.

Overall, it was great. I was a little bummed with the room service ringing the bell at 8 am on a Saturday morning to clean your room. For hotels like Hilton, it should not be acceptable or there should be a provision for "Do Not Disturb" signs outside the room.

Great venue to stay at in Windhoek. I look forward to my return.

Great staff, friendly and knowledgable. Room is spacious and modern. Breakfast was awesome, dinner was great too, very tasty. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Unfortunately the room that I stayed in had a leaking shower and the basin water runoff led straight onto the floor and my shoes, both easy to fix I am sure.

This hotel should be closed until the sewage smell is identified and rectified.

The rooms were new and looked good.

There was a sewage smell throughout the hotel. The staff were not equipped or able to deal with queries. When complaining about the sewage and requesting moving to another hotel, the staff indicated that they were not allowed to contact senior management after hours and could only resolve the issue the following day. The following day after escalating to owners of the hotel, I was moved to a suite at the Hilton next door, which was great, but the attitude of the HGI staff was extremely poor. I contacted Booking.com on their system about this and they didn't bother to respond. This is the second time that i have has an issue and Booking.com has not responded.

parking is extra! the hotel has no own free parking, so its all extra and not cheap! wifi did not work! there should be breakfast at 6:30, at 6:30 they only started seeing up. only available at 6:45! Please think of you business traveler.

Served a much-needed soul break. Got to do my challenging homework in no time at all.

Excellent staff, especially the gem, Hilma. The bed was , conducive to deep, good sleep! I would return just to leap into those beds again.

The slowest, most mercurial and often non-existent internet service. I know the situation upsets the staff as well because it is the one time they lose their general cheer. But it’s terrible. But it might be a general state in Windhoek.

Worst ever

Breakfast choice not great Location is excellent for business.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. For a brand new hotel, WIFI, Lifts and TV was not working. Every time you complain it is just a story on story and nobody does anything. The parking is expensive and you don't get told about it until you checked in. Overall it was a disaster
