About this farm stay rental
### "Le clos de l'Abba"
"Le clos de l'Abba" is a charming building dating back several centuries, tastefully restored, which we have decided to rent out for the first time this year.
You are at the foot of Gordes (5 km from the village), in the agricultural plain, amidst the fields. Facing the small Luberon, you can relax, swim, or take walks in the countryside where beautiful villages are located nearby.
The house is ideally situated to discover this magical Provence where the light reigns supreme and nature is beautiful and generous.
The house is 5 minutes from the amenities of the village of Coustellet (supermarkets, small shops, a producer's market, restaurants...).
The property opens onto a lovely fully paved courtyard, surrounded by old stones, where a century-old olive tree stands. A pergola covered with wisteria shelters a large family teak table, and a fountain pleasantly completes this bucolic setting.
At the back of the garden, separated by a secure barrier for small children, is the pool (8x4) surrounded by shrubs, roses, and a magnificent almond tree.
A garden lounge under a shaded shelter will allow you to enjoy long summer evenings. Sunbeds and foutas are at your disposal to enjoy the pool and the sun.
You have 4 bedrooms, 2 beds of 90 for children, and a large living room. A TV room equipped with a large screen (65 inches) and a DVD/Blu-ray player.
Internet access is provided by fiber optics, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Music is played through Sonos speakers and HomePods on which you can stream your content.
There are 2 separate toilets, 2 bathrooms with Italian-tiled showers, and a toilet area with a WC in one of the bedrooms.
The interior of the house is spacious (240 m2), comfortable, and warm. The furniture is a mix of recent, antique, and Indonesian pieces.
The entrance is through the kitchen (a must in Provence), completely renovated, both modern and functional (very well equipped), which will delight cooking enthusiasts. The spirit of a beautiful home is preserved with Provençal ceilings and old tiles on the floor.
The dining table can accommodate eight guests, and reversible air conditioning provides great comfort in both winter and summer.
A passage leads to a laundry room with a WC, an Italian-style shower room with a sink, and at the back, the laundry room is equipped with a large sink, a washing machine, and a dryer.
Access to the upper floor is via a limestone staircase leading to the first floor. The first bedroom offers a beautiful view of the Luberon and the garden, equipped with a 160 cm bed (ideal for sensitive backs), a wardrobe, and two armchairs.
Further down the corridor with its stone floor, you will find a second bedroom also equipped with a 160 cm bed, a wardrobe, and a small antique washstand.
Opposite is a bright and very spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, a long stone sink with two basins, and a large rectangular mirror.
At the end of the corridor, you enter a large living room decorated in an African style, with two comfortable sofas facing each other with a coffee table, and in the center of the room, a limestone insert fireplace connects with a more rustic part and antique furniture, as well as a game table.
At the back of the room, you access a cozy TV room with its sofa, a large screen TV, a coffee table, and a small round antique table that can be used for games, such as chess or writing.
All the doors in the house are made of oak wood, and the floors are stone, giving the house charm and authenticity.
The top floor consists of a small playroom with a Wii corner, a sofa that also serves as a children's bed, and 2 other bedrooms.
A master suite equipped with a 160 cm bed, a child's bed, a rocking chair, and a bathroom (WC and sink).
A final bedroom equipped with a 140 cm bed, which benefits from a beautiful view of the Luberon and the garden.
A large storage room on the ground floor allows you to store your bikes and luggage; it also provides access to a large freezer and an additional refrigerator.
