The Space:

The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable, attractive furnishings. The location near the street was a bit loud from traffic during the day but really diminished in the evening. The house was located a short drive from the event we attended at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex. We really enjoyed our stay.

Super well located within walking distance of a couple restaurants and shops in town. Plenty of space for a group of 6 adults to spread out, cook breakfast and dinner and play board games.
Fair warning, the house is old and creaks and some of the doors will pop open or be difficult to close, but overall it was a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend using the fans and white noise machines provided if the road noise from main st bothers you. The host also provides shampoo, conditioner, hangers, a few laundry pods, etc. which were all super appreciated.

The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. It was modernized but retained its old-world charm. We enjoyed ourselves!

Visited from NC to attend a wedding. Such a pleasure when the stay has no flaws or complications. House felt like home. Homey and clean. Beds comfy. Loved the quaint little town of Manheim and Elizabethtown. We will be back.

Amazing stay

We really enjoyed staying in this home.
Beds were very comfortable (as long as you are good with firm beds) We all slept well. Bed and Bath linens were great. Plenty of pillows.
Home is literally on main street so there is quite a bit of traffic around the clock. We all slept well but it was a concern.
Bathrooms were beautifully done. The only issue was for our group of 6, we did run out of hot water very quickly and after the first day had to schedule our showers so we could all enjoy hot water.
I had to message the host several times and each time was answered promptly.
There is a cute little coffee shop a block away that we really enjoyed, Mill 72. It was such a cute place with some amazing baked goods and good coffee.
Overall- a great stay in a beautiful, historic home with a great host. Biggest suggestion would be larger water heater.
Decor and finishes were very well done. Parking was excellent with reserved spots. Definitely some VERY steep steps but the host does a great job of communicating this in the property description before hand so it was no surprise. We really appreciated that the host honored are request to check out a few hours late to accomodate our flight out of Baltimore.

This is a beautiful, quaint, and tastefullly decorated home. We were very comfortable, and the fact that our pup was welcome made this stay possible-thank you! All soaps were provided. The kitchen was spacious. If you plan on doing alot of cooking, you might need to bring along some gadgets/spices and a non stick pan. You will be very happy in this home, we were!
