About this apartment rental

This impressive Victorian holiday home is tucked away in a quiet private road just a short walk to the sea and Aldeburgh High Street - perfect for a memorable family holiday or celebration weekend. French doors opening from the spacious open plan kitchen/dining room to the sunny patio and raised garden allow relaxed indoor/outdoor living in the summer months, as well as a comfortable living room and elegant dining room.

Accommodation is over three floors with the following beds:
Ground floor (1 bedroom) - super-king (made as a twin)
1st floor (2 bedrooms) - super-king, king, shower room and bathroom
2nd floor (3 bedrooms) - super-king, double with extra single, a twin, and 3rd bathroom.
All SK beds are zip and link beds and will be made up as SK unless requested as twins well in advance please.

ENTRANCE
You’re welcomed into the hallway opening to the cloakroom, kitchen/dining room, ground floor bedroom, living room and the dining room. There’s a door to the garden at the end of the hallway and both French and sliding doors to the garden from the kitchen. Wooden floors run through the ground floor with carpets and wide stairs with a stair runner and banister rises and turns to the first floor landing before continuing upwards to the second floor.

CLOAKROOM
Space to leave coats and footwear as you arrive, with a door to the
toilet with WC and wash basin.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
Ideal for indoor/outdoor living, this wonderful room has a handsome table with benches and chairs beside double doors and sliding doors to the patio and garden. A central island with bar chairs makes it a sociable space to entertain with everything you need for catering at home – a double Falcon electric oven with a gas hob with five rings, a dishwasher, a full height fridge (7 shelves and a veg drawer), a drinks fridge, a Krups Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster.

UTILITY ROOM
Conveniently off the kitchen with a door to the garden, giving bags of room for your groceries and fitted with a double sink, a microwave, a three-drawer freezer, a washer/dryer, drying rack etc.

LIVING ROOM
An elegant high-ceilinged room designed for relaxing in with three generous sofas around the coffee table, wood burner and large wall-mounted TV.

DINING ROOM
Ideal for more formal mealtimes the dining table can comfortably seat twelve guests and there’s a sofa for reclining afterwards, plus a cupboard heaving with games and jigsaws for guests of all ages.

BEDROOM
Start your travels in this room with the feature wall map behind the zip and link bed which can be made into a twin or super-king to suit your requirements. Well stocked bookshelves cover one wall and there are bedside tables and shelves for your own belongings.

OUTSIDE
This semi-detached house sits well back from Park Road, a private road running along the top of the town with an easy walk to the bustling high street, beach, or to the marshes. The drive sweeps past a front garden to the front door and there’s a secluded fully enclosed garden at the back with a generous patio furnished for long laxzy lunches and steps up to the lawn surrounded by well-established shrubs.

FIRST FLOOR
This carpeted landing gives access to bedrooms one and two, the family bathroom and shower room, and has a desk so guests needing to work from home can use this or the desk in the hallway downstairs.

BEDROOM ONE
An exceptionally large room overlooking the front garden, with a super-king zip and link bed between antique tables with ample storage in a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There’s also a deep arm chair to snuggle into with a good book.

BEDROOM TWO
The bed takes pride of place in this room, overlooking the garden and estuary in the distance. There’s a good stool and room for you to unpack and settle in with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and shelves.

FAMILY BATHROOM
Light streams in through the panes over the bath which has both a rain shower and hand-held wand over it. There’s also a WC, a wash basin, and a heated towel rail (towels for all guests will be provided).

SHOWER ROOM
The double shower cubicle has both the rain and hand-held shower heads, plus the essential WC wash basin, heated towel rail and natural light.

SECOND FLOOR
Carpeted stairs with a bannister rise to this room where the last double and two twin rooms with with the third bathroom.

BEDROOM THREE
Enjoy the stunning view to the Alde estuary from this lofty bedroom which has a zip and link bed between bedside drawers, as well as wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a comfy chair for bedtime stories.

BEDROOM FOUR
A great family room with a double bed as well as a single with storage beneath, a couple of cupboards (fun hiding places!) and a chair in the charming window resess.

BEDROOM FIVE
Children will enjoy the space to play and their own table and chairs in this spacious twin room with a chest of drawers and Beatrix Potter books to choose from.

BATHROOM
An equally pretty bathroom with a shower adjustment over the bath, a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and natural light.

Outside:
Front and rear garden with patio area at the rear. Garden furniture including a gas barbecue, table and chairs for 12 and a parasol.
Off street parking for five cars.

Additional Information:

Three well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).

One high chair and one travel cot available on request.
