At first, it was a little hard to find the place, but it’s right in front of Sorrento’s main tourist street, so the location couldn’t be better. The host was very kind, and the room and bathroom were quite clean.

Super overpriced. Most expensive one among 3 hotels (35% to 50% more, the other one in Sorrento too and closer to train station) but family thinks this is the cheapest. Room is extremely outdated while charged a EU price in the south Italy! Owner is business polite but no more. Feels cold and ignorance in responding messages compared to other 2 hotels. Lack of warm and passion. Shower room is the most awful part, no shelving to put towels excepted ironed heater bars and super small. Very dangerous to turn around between toilet and sink w hard corner at entry. So dangerous! Showering space is so tiny that a skinny women can't have elbow straight to wash hair...very shocking...not consider a proper man! Room has very big step between beds and toilets...very dangerous to fall if you do not pay attention! Esp children, elder! No places to put suitcases except flat on the floor. (have to sit on floor to organize it!!!! OMG!) Very poor design of the old shelving! 4 very sad hangers were provided, all interior are unlike other 2 hotels!! Unbelievable! Breakfast is no need. Owner has to prepare food such as coffee or breads so you wait for long time for a tiny small portions. Food are lack of any appetite. We barely have anything and mostly eat out. Waste of money. Balcony is the hotel entry so no privacy and poor sitting area for the price we paid. The only hotel of 3 that really annoys me while paying the most and more than one night! The only disappointment of the whole trip!!!

We really appreciate the fact we had to leave early and miss breakfast and found a bag of breakfast foods in our room the afternoon before we left. Thank you!

Great location, easy to walk to the main street of Sorrento. Room was clean and very comfortable, we even had a nice patio to sit and enjoy the morning. The owner was very welcoming and easy to reach with any questions.

Small boutique hotel steps away from the centre of town. Our room was large and clean with a private patio. The room included breakfast and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Sorrento.

The hotel is very pretty. I love that you can walk everywhere and there’s a ton of dining options. The area felt very safe and the room itself was beautiful. Check in went smoothly and owner responded quickly. I’d definitely stay here again.

Just outside the main walls of Sorrento so very easy to walk to all the shopping and dining. Nice outdoor area to eat breakfast. Breakfast was fresh (pastries, cheese, meat, juice) and they will cook eggs and brew espresso drinks to order. Some rooms have private outdoor seating. AC in the rooms was essential when we visited in August.

Booked room for family of 4, but surprised at how small room was. Ok for 2 small (young) children to share bunk bed within arm's reach of mom & dad, but not an 18 and 21 year old. Should have booked 2 separate rooms, but was told it could accommodate 4. Why spend extra $$? My daughter ended up staying at another hotel with a friend. Staff was nice and accommodating overall. Location good.

I have never written a negative review before, but I was repeatedly disappointed here.
One reason I chose it was because of the breakfast buffet. Because we had early tours the first two days, I asked for breakfast to go. The first day there was nothing, and no one to ask. The second day the to-go breakfast consisted of packaged cookies and juice.
At check in, I was told the code for the gate would be sent to me via WhatsApp. It was not. When we arrived after our tour, we could not get in. No one answered the phone or buzzer, and we did not receive an immediate reply to my WhatsApp message.
We booked a family room and listed our party as three adults and one child, age 16. The room had a double bed and a bunk bed. The first night, there was no rail and no ladder for the top bunk, so we moved the mattress to the floor. A ladder and rail were provided in time for the second night, but we were concerned that the bed wasn't sturdy enough so we kept the mattress on the floor.
Finally, I had originally booked four nights, but realized two weeks before check in that Sorrento was really far from the Rome airport. I messaged the property to see whether I could change to three nights. I did not receive a reply. The day of check in, I asked on WhatsApp and was told I would have to ask Expedia. Expedia said it was OK with them if the proprietor agreed. He said no and I was not refunded. I understand it was outside the policy, but if you're not going to make an exception, own it.

Our recent stay in Sorrento at the Giardino Archeologico was outstanding. The location is very close to the charming old town with lots of restaurants and shops. The owners were very welcoming and we enjoyed the freshly made omelettes, coffees and pastries. The lovely lady who makes breakfast went out of her way to bake special pastries for my son who had a nut allergy. We will definitely stay here when we return to Sorrento.

We had a great stay at Giardino Archeologico! It is located right next to an entrance to the old-city of Sorrento. It is also conveniently located near the ferry terminal and train station. The rooms were comfortable, and had great air conditioning.
One of the highlights was the daily breakfast! Great food, coffee, and the fresh pound cake was delicious!
We recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient location by the old-city of Sorrento!

This is a lovely spot to stay, close to everything but away from the busy area - although it is beside a noisy road, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was in the night. The garden is lovely to sit and have a glass of wine. The breakfast was extensive, fresh and delicious. The pillows were a bit hard and flat and the bed a bit firm for our preference. Otherwise a fantastic place to stay!

Staff very friendly and made breakfast every morning. Great place to stay since it is close to city center where you will find all the great shopping and dining. Enjoyed the court yard.

The most amazing stay ever! Perfect location to everything. The staff was super friendly and helpful prior to checkin all the way to check out. Rooms are super clean! I am going back for a second stay and this will always be my first choice in Sorrento. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

The property is in an excellent location and the old town is a few steps away. Family owned and it showed with enthusiastic owner. Parking was available which is really helpful. Room was great, spacious and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was excellent. Added bonus was some Roman artifacts on site.

Lovely hotel, would highly recommend staying here! Location is great, 2 minutes walk from the Main Street with loads of lovely restaurants. Easy to walk to the port, train station and around Sorrento. The room was great, lovely and clean, spacious, nice seating area outside the patio doors and everything in it we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of options and we were also able to have eggs cooked for us too. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Gem of a place at a great price in the perfect location for us!

We had an amazing time at our stay here. It is in a central location where you can walk to great shops, restaurants, and bars. The property is gorgeous, we sat in the gardens every night. Also Alessio and the staff were super helpful and even assisted us with booking safe and fair transportation to the airport.

Great hotel / B&B. The team running it are so friendly and helpful. It's a super location for Sorrento town, just a few minutes walk to the centre. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice seating area outside. We liked it so much we stayed another night. It's difficult to find (on a corner) so if driving, call ahead and you'll get help. Overall a great find and a great stay!

Basic hotel but the staff / management are amazing. Really friendly and helpful. Only downside was the booking site was hard to understand to choose the room, it looks as though all rooms are overlooking the garden. However, value for money. Good access to town, easy walking and secure parking

This was an absolutely AMAZING hotel! Clean, modern, wonderful aesthetic. The owner was absolutely amazing. He communicated with us the whole time, helped us find the address (Google Maps is completely wrong about how to get to the hotel). The owner was friendly and just overall enjoyable. The rooms were beautiful, clean and had access to the garden! The hotel has the most AMAZING location! Right next to the main strip of shops and restaurants. An AMAZING sushi restaurant is RIGHT across the street. Me, my fiancé and my brother stayed here (two rooms). I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're staying in Sorrento!

We loved our stay here! Spacious room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is right by the city, but was quiet and lovely. The patio was expansive and inviting. The breakfast was excellent with fresh juice from their fruit trees. They were so friendly and attentive.

We stayed 2 nights in a family room and we’re really impressed by the central location, great shower, garden and incredible breakfast (by far the best we had during our entire stay in Italy, with freshly baked croissants, freshly squeezed Orange juice from the garden and an omelette). Best of all there is also very reasonably priced car parking you can book in advance. Deserves more stars than it has! It is a bit tricky to find at first so read booking instructions and be sure to message the owner at least 30min in advance so they can direct you in and open the gates if you have a car. Amazing to see the ruins preserved under the property too.
