About this apartment rental
South Bay is a brand new complex close to Estepona town centre. Overlooking the sea and the old town, it has stunning views. This duplex penthouse has 3 bedrooms and it is in a spectacular building with an innovative design.
***Please be advised there is construction of a new phase nearby (it started early 2023), so there is potential for noise, but not with windows closed, and we have adjusted the rates for 2024 accordingly***
Located in Estepona, it’s a a 10 minute walk to Estepona Port and a 15 minute walk to the beach and the old town with its lovely cobbled streets and its many shops, cafes and restaurants. South Bay has great facilities such as a communal pool with sunbeds, underground parking, a gym and a sauna for the exclusive use of owners and guests.
On the fourth floor and with amazing views, it faces South East, this beautiful apartment has been exceptionally furnished with exquisite taste. It is fully equipped for a home stay; the interior is over 100sq meters and the lower terraze 50sq.meters. The roof top terrace is 85sq meters, the lower level terrace has sun all morning and has a round dining table for 6 people, a comfy sofa seating area and sunbeds from where to relax and enjoy the amazing views and beautiful sunrises.
The large roof top terrace is very private and has lovely views towards the Gibraltar, Morocco and the Mediterranean as well as the mountains so you can enjoy the sun all afternoon. It has a dining area for 6 people, 6 sunbeds and lounge chairs and shaded areas.
The apartment sleeps 6 adults and has 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms are furnished with top quality tiling and fittings.
The master bedroom has a double bed and its own bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 singles both share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. All are furnished to an exceptional standard with very good mattresses and have ample wardrobe space.
The ultra-modern new kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, built in microwave, oven, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso maker. There is also a washing machine.
Please note: The balconies are glass and 1,20m high, so if bringing children please check with us.
Please note: There are stairs up to the roof top terrace but the living area is all on the same level.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are 20 minutes by car. Gibraltar airport is 25 minutes away and Malaga airport can be reached in 50 minutes.
ALARM: We have an alarm system with cameras, but these are not operative during guests stay. They have a lid to close them. The alarm switch is by the front door, please do not press or activate.

WHY VISIT ESTEPONA & CASARES COAST:
A little further West than the busy Costa del Sol, Estepona and the area of Casares offer a more relaxing experience to the guest, and a great base from which to explore further around the beautiful Andalucia region. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful beaches it is a great place for families and nature lovers.
Estepona a midsized town, once a quiet fishing town, it is a little smaller than the busy Marbella and very family friendly. It has a beautifully kept old historical part, with cobbled streets and a typical Andalucian feel. The town centre is pedestrian and the streets are beautifully decorated with lovely potted flowers.
The beach promenade which has been completely rebuilt stretches on for miles to the East and West past the port.
It has an Orchidarium and botanical garden, the largest in Europe. Also it is famous for its street murals and there is a very interesting walking tour to see over 30 of them.
There are many quaint shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and tapas bars. At night it is lovely to go out and dine here and enjoy the atmosphere.
It has a stunning beach promenade which goes on for miles and plenty of things to do.There are many very good restaurants nearby and many boutiques, cafes and bars.
On Wednesday they have a large outdoor market, with ceramics, clothes and fresh fruit and vegetables. The port has a Sunday Market and many restaurants&nightlife.
Another recommendation is to drive or cycle up to Sierra Bermeja mountain and its national park, over 1500 meters above sea level from here you can enjoy stunning views and nature. From here you can also visit the local white villages of Gaucin, Casares, Jubrique and Genaguacil “the village of the artists”.
Also we have our own Safari park Selwo, which is 10 minutes by car, and many different beaches and resorts. Estepona also has outdoor karting for the kids. In Algeciras there is a great Aquapark which is only 30 minutes away.
OTHER THINGS TO DO WHILE YOU ARE HERE:
You can easily make day trips , as well as Malaga city - Morocco as well as the stunning Alhambra Palace in Granada.Cordoba and Sevilla are recommended, Cordobas Mosque built in 785 ad is a World Heritage Site since 1984. In Granada during the winter months we can also go on day trips skiing to the Sierra Nevada. Also not to be missed is the stunning town of Ronda, which is an hour and a half drive up the mountains.We also recommend a visit to Tarifa, the windiest city in Europe, and Kite Surf heaven. A beautiful historical Moorish town between the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean with pristine white sandy beaches and natural dunes as well as Cadiz.
