Crystal, we enjoyed staying in your house that you lived for 20 years raising your family. We were very mindful of the house rules and treated your home as we would do ours. It was an amazing weekend for us in the property. Your Patio and decor was very welcoming, including the small garden with the pond set up !! Kitchen utensils were very limited - that is one area for improvement but otherwise, you have thought about all the details for a guest !! Thank you very much and we look forward to staying with your property soon !!

We travel to Asheville every year in July for a show at the Ag Center. We have a group of 5 and usually stay 15-20 min away. While we have found some great properties in the past, we were looking for something a bit closer to reduce travel time.
We found this listing and it checked all our boxes, including being just a few minutes’ drive to the Ag Center and airport.
In the neighborhood, we saw deer, turkey and a few of the famed white squirrels known to frequent the area.
The house was very clean with lush landscaping and located in a very friendly and quiet neighborhood.
It’s a split-level home with some stairs to climb to the front entrance. Once inside, stairs down will lead to a downstairs bedroom and stairs up leads you to the main living area, bedrooms and bathrooms.
The kitchen area was small, but adequate for our needs as we do not typically prepare large meals on our trips. There is a regular coffee maker (non-keurig) which helped us wake up in the early mornings.
We really enjoyed the covered, screened-in patio and the tranquil back yard during our stay.
The hosts were wonderful and answered any question we had. They even accommodated an early arrival for us by a couple hours when a couple members of our family arrived early.
This was a great place to stay during our time in Asheville and we look forward to staying here next year.

We had a wonderful time staying on this property! The location was very convenient for us being next to major interstate and airport. The property itself was just lovely. We spent our nights relaxing in the covered patio, listening to the sound of the fountain from the outside. I loved the guestbook. It helped us plan some of the activities we wanted to do. Crystal was very helpful with all my questions and prompt with her responses. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay for our Asheville trip. Is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a peaceful neighborhood with lots of trees.
The house is in very good condition and was very comfortable. The backyard, including the screened-in porch, the deck, the pond with waterfall and giant swing, etc., is such a peaceful oasis. We had a great stay.

Crystal was great… we loved our stay in this beautiful cottage! The thoughtful landscaping made us feel like we were far away while having the convenience of being midway between Fletcher Village bakery and the Ag Center! Hoping to return!

This home is perfectly located to Asheville, Biltmore, the mountains and some great quilt stores. Beautiful and comfortable in every level with lovely landscaping in a wooded neighborhood and an outdoor retreat complete with a shaded daybed swing. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return. Our host was the best and stayed in touch from the time we made our reservation! We highly recommend this VRBO!!

I have been searching for the proper words to describe how absolutely wonderful our stay was. I dont think the proper words exist. We visited the area for the Herb Festival. First off, we were completely at ease the minute we pulled into the driveway. It immediately felt like a second home. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. The landscaping in the front *fingers kiss*. The check in process was the easiest! When we got inside, relaxing happened with ease. The space inside the house is utilized amazingly. The back screened in porch was my favorite part. I enjoyed my cup of coffee and great book while I sat out there. My small children were able to play about the house without me having a single worry. The backyard was the most incredible oasis!!!!!!!! I will without a doubt stay at this home again. Thank you so much Brown family for hosting us. And thank you again for the amazing food and activities suggestions.
I also would like to add my 11 month old son took his first steps in the living room our first night there!

This beautiful home is nestled in a cul-de-sac in a lovely neighborhood that is very convenient to Asheville. The home is very clean and exhibits great attention to detail and there is a relaxing garden where you can recline on a large swing/bed surrounded by Japanese maples, cherry trees, bamboo, crepe myrtles and a waterfall. This is a great place to just relax.

An amazing house close to Chimney rock, Asheville, and Hendersonville. I could not have found a better location for my weekend adventure. House was picture perfect and the neighborhood was beautiful.. felt like you were in the country but close to everything. The outdoor living space is perfect if you’re wanting to unwind at the end of the day or even sit outside and drink your morning coffee. I would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect spot to visit Sierra Nevada for a couple or family with 1-2 small kids. Super clean!
The garden was expertly designed and beautiful even in winter. The perfect place for solo time or catch-up conversations. Come spring it will be full of rhododendron blooms!
