Or maybe you’re traveling for business and don't want to share a bathroom with your boss. Whatever brings you to our beautiful town, we’d love to host you. The space Bring the whole family and stay at our 2-building historic home in the heart of New Braunfels, TX. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re in town for river tubing, antiquing, weddings, a show at Gruene Hall, or donning your LEDERHOSEN for Wurstfest. But let’s talk about the two houses because that’s the best part… YES! That means two stocked kitchens. YES, there are two living rooms, too (the kids can watch a movie LOUDLY while the adults enjoy some peace and wine). YES, you can put the in-laws in the back house. (There’s a private fenced yard there too). YES, there’s plenty of parking. YES, we have a courtyard and shared space with a grill, games, and good sun. YES, you can bring your pets (don’t forget to add them to your reservation). YES, we have a super cool game room for the kids with giant Connect Four, foosball, and other fun things --- It will feel like a big ‘ol slumber party with the entire family when you stay with us. But in a totally comfortable, grown-up way. All of our beds have high-end premium mattresses and linens, so you’ll be good to go for several days of exploring New Braunfels. We’ll get these spaces ready for you: - 3 queen beds in the main house - 2 king beds in the casita - 2 sleeper sofas (one in each house) - 1 twin daybed in the main house - 2 full bathrooms in the main house - 1 full bathroom in the casita - 1 game room with giant connect four, foosball, and other fun things. - 1 parlor that doubles as a getting-ready station complete with 2 full length mirrors/chairs (PERFECT for getting ready for the day of an event, just add the hair and makeup professionals). If you enjoy old stuff, this home is for you. The main house was built in 1929 and still has some original details and flooring! Keep in mind that because she’s so old (ahem, ANTIQUE) she does have her quirks. Give the water a few minutes to heat up and don’t mind a few creaky floorboards, imagine how many boots have scooted across them boards! If you want to talk about the LOCATION, we’re walking distance to HEB (it’s brand spankin’ new and they have a barbecue drive through, wuuuut), and a 24 hour Walgreens is our adjacent neighbor. You’re also less than a 5 minute drive to the closest tubing outfitter and less than a 10 min drive away from the rivers (Comal and Guadalupe). By the way, we also provide SHOPPING SERVICES for an additional charge if you’d like your fridge stocked prior to your arrival. Just let us know! Come stay at our hacienda away from home. We’d love to host you! Guest access You’ll have exclusive access to the entire hacienda which includes both houses, the courtyard, and driveway. We’ll send you check-in codes a couple of hours before your check-in time. Check-in is at 3 pm, check-out is at 11 am. We try our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs, but our team works hard in between stays to ensure a super clean and comfy stay for all guests, so we don’t like to rush them. BUT let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll do our best 🙂 Parking is available next to the casita at the end of the driveway, along the long driveway, and on the street in front of the house. Please do not park or block our neighbors’ driveways. Other things to note You’re staying in a historic neighborhood! We love our neighbors, so please be respectful of quiet hours and feel free to wave hello; they’re all very nice. Also, DEER! The white-tailed deer are beloved in New Braunfels—especially in our neighborhood! You’ll often see them walking around during the twilight hours, enjoying a respite from the sun. Please be careful as you drive around, and call yourself lucky if you get to see the mamas with their fawns and calves. Of course, you’ll hear normal neighborhood noise like garbage cans rolling out on trash day, dogs barking, and cars passing by on nearby Walnut Ave. Let us know if there are any other noises we can address, though!
