Our family had a wonderful time! The house was exactly as described. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving meal. Beds are comfortable.

We held a memorial weekend for my brother who passed away. This rental was the perfect setting for the extended family! We loved the house and the view! Everything in the house was awesome! Plenty of space for everyone to relax and remenice. The host was responsive and helpful. It would have been nice to know that the basement bedroom and bathroom are not finished but it worked out ok.

Spacious house with INCREDIBLE views! Could use some updating, especially carpet. Bedding is provided but seemed musty, so we washed it before use. Great starter set of supplies and well-stocked kitchen. Dual zone HVAC.
The upstairs loft had a large selection of paperbacks. There are some DVDs and a chess board on the main floor. The ping pong table and corn hole boards were a huge hit, but the pool table wasn’t in great condition. The basement bedroom is for people who are okay with bugs (not roaches, just basic forest insects).
The bathrooms were clean and spacious but didn’t have exhaust fans. We opened windows after showers. The bathrooms and kitchen didn’t all have hand towels and hand soap, so bring some extra.
As with most rentals, be prepared to wash kitchenware before use, but this rental was no worse than others. Be gentle with the dishwasher, as the soap lid is missing. You may want to buy bottled water and bagged ice. We have well water, and I normally drink from the tap, but even I had to agree that this water had a bad taste. We think it’s the area, not the house (1st time in Mass, so not certain).
Parking is no joke! Pass the driveway and u-turn at the cul-de-sac to pull in without scraping the bottom of your car. Driveway was large enough for our 4 cars.
The property management company was very helpful and responded quickly when I emailed with questions. Community & amenities are great. Eat at Thunderbird Cafe! Overall, we’d stay again :-)

The house is exactly as described and provided ample space for our group (2 teens, 3 grandparents and 2 adults). We enjoyed storm watching from the deck and peaceful shady mornings on the front porch. The kitchen is well stocked.

Great location when visiting for skiing. Basement has plenty of entertainment. Gas Grill is very small plan for cooking to take longer. Driveway can be difficult for larger vehicles as you have very sharp 180 to enter.

This property was perfect for our family's winter vacation. Beautiful property with one of the best views I have seen in the area! Spacious place with many fun activities for everyone. I would highly recommend this property and will plan to stay here again.

Our family does an annual fall hiking trip and this house was perfect!! The views of the valley and Shenandoah park are incredible. The house was clean and had more than enough room. The kids loved the game room. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook family dinners with everything you would need. Would absolutely recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone!!

The pictures of the cabin don’t do it justice. The place is stunning. They make Everything about your stay so effortless and enjoyable!

Aside from the fireplace not working the rest of the house was good. The view is gorgeous. Beds comfy!kitchen is stocked- definitely needs more than an 8 cup coffee maker. Not a lot of seating in the family room for a house that sleeps 12. No smart tv in the lining room so bring a fire stick! Easier to go in from the downstairs if you’ve got anyone with mobility issues. The Rocky steps can be tricky, especially in the rain. The biggest issue was the crumbs on the floor and counter tops when we got there. I wiped everything down before we cooked. Kitchen floor needs to have the chairs and trash can moved when it’s being cleaned and there was a greasy film on the large glass dining table. Probably need to use glass cleaner not Clorox wipes on it.

It was a memorable stay! Everything was more than expected. My family & I enjoyed everything the house had to offer. The only thing we complained about was the drive way (main entry was difficult, you kinda have to watch how you turn into the property so it won’t scrape the bottom of your car) and some of the blankets weren’t washed. Other than that we enjoyed every min. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! Would definitely love to stay again if we ever come back to the area.

Our group of 8 loved our stay here over the weekend. The great room had breathtaking views of the mountains and sunrise. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. An amazing kitchen, dining and great room. There were plenty of kitchen supplies for us to use with helpful labeling all across the house. We especially loved ending the night in the basement with the pool table, ping pong, and foosball table. Thank you for the great stay.

We thought that the office would be open since we arrived during the hours of operation, but The office was already closed. No problem getting our key from the lock box. What I didn’t realize when we booked was that the driveway was very steep and the car scraped the end of the driveway. Also, the steps were fine, but the concrete slabs were a bit tricky to navigate. The house was a bit dusty and the floors needed a good cleaning. Cleaning crew had left a bag of garbage in the hallway. Kitchen sink should be replaced, as should the couch in the lr. House could use more lighting in the dining area. Despite all this, the house was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view was spectacular. Enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. Fine for a few days’ getaway. When we checked out the office was closed and we could not get the lockbox open to return the keys. A little difficult to get in touch with management to find out what to do with the keys.
