About this house rental

Visit The 1960's Gem and you'll be thrown back in time where everything was groovy! Everyone will enjoy the mid century touches throughout from the fab furnishings to the modern day essentials. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the main drag and interstate. You'll dig the updated kitchen with quartz counters and orange glass backsplash as well as the far out updated bath and a half. All of the cool cats will hang on the backyard patio for highballs and hula hoop.

This outta site gem will be a place you could call home for years! It's spotless inside and out and the owner has thought of everything you'll need to enjoy your stay from shampoo/conditioner, soaps, lotion & a hair dryer to retro snacks, water, soda & wine. Fully equipped kitchen with all the fab items you'll need to make your favorite meal. Washer & dryer in the lower level. The peachy keen patio area will surely blow your mind with the relaxing atmosphere, grill & comfy furnishings....Pets allowed with approval.

Guests will have the entire home to enjoy! If you need the garage please ask and the remote will be provided for your stay.

Although I won't be there to greet you personally, I'm only a message or phone call away and I answer quickly.

The quiet neighborhood offers a perfect place to take long walks or you can head down to the Irish District on the corner of E Ave & 16th St. It features 3 bars and two have food. The Tic Toc Restaurant just re-opened (Corner of E Ave and 17th St. NE) Great tenderloins, cheese sticks & onion rings. Or if you want something a little more upscale and fun the New Bo District is just a short 8 -10 minute drive downtown. You'll find, kitschy shops like Raygun , Almost Famous Ice Cream Shop and lots of other places to explore...

Navigating Cedar Rapids is easy, 1st Ave is our main drag and with your phone's GPS getting around town is a breeze. We have great Uber drivers too!
Quiet time after 10 PM. Please be considerate of the neighbors. Dogs are allowed in this property with approval but no cats. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
