About this house rental

Welcome to Michigan Adventure Retreat!

Huge basement game room w/ bar, multiple TVs, projector screen, pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, pinball, pop-a-shot, 7 Arcade games, giant connect four, ring toss game, board games.

Pickleball/basketball court, hot tub, yard games, fire pit

Nestled in the woods, this house will make you feel like you're away from it all despite being just 5 minutes to downtown New Buffalo!

Completely remodeled in 2024, fresh & clean! Enough space for 16+ guests

Upstairs:

-Open-concept living/dining (seating for 8 at the table and 4 more at the kitchen island)
-Fully stocked kitchen/coffee bar (Keurig + regular coffee pot) - we provide syrups, sugar, and coffee filters, but do not provide coffee, (sometimes there is extra left from previous guests)

-Bedroom #1 w/ king bed + en suite bath (w/ shower, double sinks) + office space w/ monitor
-Bedroom #2 w/ king bed + walk-in closet
-Bedroom #3 w/ four twin beds (2 bunks) + walk-in closet
-Full bathroom #2 with shower/tub

Outdoor:
-pickleball court/basketball court (we provide some pickleballs/paddles and basketballs but you're welcome to bring your own as well!)
-Covered front porch. Elevated back deck with peaceful wooded views.
-Wood-burning fire pit
-Gas BBQ grill
-2 hammocks
-Yard games: cornhole, kan-jam, ladder golf


Downstairs:
Large game area w/ pool table, 8 arcade games, shuffleboard, ring toss, giant connect4, pop-a-shot, darts, wall tic-tac-toe, foosball, a large projector, and a bar area with a smart TV

Bedroom #4 w/ 2 queen beds + twin fold out futon
Bedroom #5 w/ 2 queen beds
Bathroom #3 w/ shower

Shampoo/body soap, towels, and a couple of starter rolls of toilet paper are provided in each bathroom. We also have a hair dryer.

A first aid kit and laundry supplies can be found in the laundry room closet, along with basic cleaning supplies and beach towels.

Children Amenities: There is a high chair and a pack n' play located in the closet of bedroom #1. We also have kids dishes/utensils in the kitchen.

Other: Central air, central heat

Parking: There is plenty of parking in the driveway for 5+ cars. There is no garage.

Guests have full access to the house and yard. There is a trail and wooded area behind the house that guests are welcome to explore. Guests do not have access to the storage barn located next to the house.

The house is on a gravel road that can be muddy when it rains. It should not be a problem for any type of vehicle to navigate the road. You will need to travel on the gravel road for about 1/2 mile to reach the house.

Please note: The house is located very close to the Indiana/Michigan state line, which is the time zone line. The house is in the Eastern time zone. Check-in/check-out times are based on the Eastern time zone.

Please note: There is a train track down the road. You can hear the train horn from the house as it approaches the road. This is very common in New Buffalo as there are many trains that go through the area.

Please note: The house is on a gravel road that can be muddy when it rains. It should not be a problem for any type of vehicle to navigate the road. You will need to travel on the gravel road for about 1/2 mile to reach the house.

Fireworks are not allowed at any time on or around the property.
Guests must be 21+ to book.

Please do not hang on basketball rim.

Please make sure the hot tub cover is on at all times when you're not using it.

We had a great time. Pickle ball court was the most popular. It was very clean and quiet. Communication was wonderful
