About this house rental
In the harbour village of Zerpenschleuse, directly on the Oder-Havel Canal, idyllically situated between water and meadow, the holiday home for up to six people, completed in 2018, is located in the second row to the water on the approx. 250 sqm recreational property. The house offers a beautiful view of the small harbour and the newly built lock into the Langer Trödel canal, which is just a few steps away. Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in Zerpenschleuse, approx. 2 km away, or in Liebenwalde (7 km). 74 square metre, centrally heated, non-smoking holiday home in Scandinavian style extends over two floors and has a living room (sofa bed; extra bed for two people, wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV, radio, CD player) with dining table and open kitchen (electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, various small kitchen appliances), a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer on the ground floor. The upper floor with gallery (upholstered suite, flat-screen TV) and a further bedroom (two single beds) can be reached from the living room via an open staircase. There is also a furnished terrace, barbecue, car park, travel cot, children's high chair and insect screens on the windows.the total price includes final cleaning, water and energy consumption, bed linen for a fee. Please bring your own towels or they can be rented for a fee on site, the fee is to be paid on site. Pets are allowed in this property.
Zerpenschleuse, a small district of Wandlitz, is located in the Barnim district, only about 45 km north of Berlin. The Barnimer Land in the Mark Brandenburg is characterised by gently rolling hills, extensive forests and numerous waterways. The region is ideal for nature-based recreation on foot, by bike or on the water.
The new harbour village is located directly at the intersection of the idyllic Finow and Oder-Havel canals and was created in connection with the lock that was opened three years ago. This has created direct access to a beautiful, approx. 10 km long section of the Finow Canal, the Lange Trödel, which leads back into the Havel in Liebenwalde. Liebenwalde has shops and restaurants, while boat and canoe hire is available directly in Zerpenschleuse.
Excursions are worthwhile to the capital Berlin (approx. 45 km), to the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve (approx. 40 km) or to the oldest ship lift still in operation in Niederfinow (approx. 35 km).
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 11.80 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to one pet is allowed.
