About this apartment rental
The 130 sqm holiday apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the old (unrenovated) Kargow manor house and the village pond on the upper floor of the landlord's house on a plot of around 3,000 sqm. The non-smoking apartment is equipped with a living room (upholstered furniture, smart TV), 3 bedrooms (2 x double bed, 1 x 2 single beds), a fully equipped kitchen (extendable dining table, electric cooker with oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, hot air fryer), a bathroom with shower and bathtub and a hallway with a workstation and a football table. The apartment is heated by central heating and outside there is a furnished terrace, car park and storage space for bicycles. On the natural and spacious property there is another seating area with barbecue facilities and a campfire site as well as a 400 square metre fenced dog area. Pets are welcome (please observe the house/pet rules). The total price includes Wi-Fi, final cleaning, bed linen, towels and water and energy consumption. Kargow is a state-recognised resort and therefore a resort tax must be paid on site.
Kargow is a small community in the Müritz National Park, which is one of the most important habitats for rare animals and plants due to its huge forest complexes, many small lakes, meadows and moors. The neighbouring village of Federow (4 km) is home to the Müritz National Park Information Centre, where visitors can experience the life of these rare birds of prey via a live camera in an osprey nest. Of the many guided tours of the national park offered here to observe wild animals and birds, those to the crane resting places are particular highlights. Thousands of these lucky birds stop off here in spring and autumn. Visitors can also explore the region themselves using the well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails and by combining bus, boat and bike with the national park ticket. The Havel spring lakes, a popular canoeing area, are also located in the region. In Federow there is a farm with a restaurant and the only radio play church in Germany. Further catering facilities and a wide range of shopping opportunities can be found in the climatic health resort of Waren (Müritz), approx. 7 km away, which can be reached by bus with the Müritz-Rundum-Ticket (included in the spa card).
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are included in the room rate in 2025. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to one pet is allowed.
