About this house rental
HISTORICAL CARRIAGE HOUSE is a Mediterranean-style carriage house steps from downtown Littleton. Two queen-sized beds comfortably sleep four adults. Enjoy cooking at home with the FULLY-EQUIPPED KITCHEN; eat inside, or take your meal to the PEACEFUL COURTYARD. There is a pull-out in the living room for smaller people. This house is originally from the 1890s (it was used to house carriages, hence the name). We fully renovated the house in 2023/2024, and we are excited for you to enjoy it! Please note: given the house's age, the stairs are narrow and somewhat steep, and the shower is in a bathtub. Both of these things could be risks if you are concerned about physical balance, so please consider that when booking.
A major feature is the house LOCATION. You are two minutes (walking) from the light rail (D-line), which takes you directly to downtown Denver. And you are two minutes (walking) from downtown Littleton, which has loads of restaurants, breweries, bars, cafes, boutique stores, and more. Plus: great views of the Rockies! If you need to work out, the Douglas H. Buck rec center is less than two minutes walking (they have a lap pool, hot tub, steam room, track, weights, etc.). At the end of the block is Sterne Park, with a peaceful pond and lots of play areas for the kids.
Entry to the Carriage House is in the alleyway behind our main house (where we live). You'll have your own driveway right in front of the Carriage House (1 car). If you need additional parking, we can provide free parking passes that can be used anywhere in the neighborhood for street parking.
Between the Carriage House and our main house is the courtyard available for your use. There is a propane grill and outdoor furniture, and you can brighten up the evenings with the string lights.
We are happy to provide tips and advice for things to do in Littleton, Denver, or in the mountains. In terms of how much you will interact with us, we will follow your preferences.
Let us know if you're planning to host an event in the courtyard, and we can make sure our own (front) driveway is open and available for parking.

We had a great visit, we enjoyed the house. You can walk to downtown Littleton. I got up 2 mornings and walked for exercise and felt safe. We went to Bacon Social for breakfast, a little pricey, great food and great service. We had a small issue called Andrew's phone, he answered immediately, explained issue and it was handled immediately. House is clean, everything you need is there. If you have someone not comfortable on stairs this may not be the place for you. Thank you. Barb
