Positives:
Facility felt fairly new. Very clean and neat.
Staff interactions were positive.
Several restaurants nearby; I walked to dinner and back.
King bed was comfortable.
Large window was nice for letting natural light into the room.
Plenty of receptacles for charging equipment.
While the room wasn't large, the layout allowed ample room to move around.
Liked having a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub.
Concerns:
Water pressure was especially weak.
Not much storage in the room; no closet.
No microwave in the room (there's one in the first floor lobby).
Furnishings and decor might be a bit too modernist for many visitors.
Other observations:
I noticed some noise from other rooms, but nothing I haven't experienced in other chain hotels.
Breakfast was ample but typical.
My credit card was billed for 150% of the overall room cost at arrival.
This facility is probably fine for short-stay travel, but there isn't a ton of space for large amounts of luggage. The decor won't suit everyone, and I would miss having a proper closet if I were traveling with a suit or formal clothing.

This was our 1st time staying with Tru Hotel. We loved it. Signed in and went to our room without any errors. Walked in the room and my son cut the TV on and to our surprise the TV had "WELCOME SHEILA:... YESSS, we have never felt more at home. The hotel is simply beautiful and chef was wonderful. Love it

The front desk lady was very helpful, nice, very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Even though I felt the rooms was a little over priced she talked me right into. So with that being said 5 star.

Only clean room every other day. I stayed 3 days never made the bed. Also did not clean room. Disgusting place to stay.

I did not like the fact that the rooms do not have microwave for the price. I have paid less and have a microwave. This was a new hotel with no microwave in the rooms.

Overpriced for the quality of the building. If IKEA were hired to build and furnish a hotel, this would be it. Cheap materials and furnishings, poor location, and outdoor noise was an issue.

The hotel is in a great location. The accessibility to other restaurants is a plus!

Great stay. The only problem was that we didn’t get room keys because of the internet.

I especially liked that there was no icky carpet because I have allergies. I also really liked the step in shower and the soap and shampoo containers on the walls versus little bottles and soaps. The decor was nice and cheery, too, with Scandinavian vibe. It was my first time staying in a Tru and I was very happy with my stay.

Brand new property surrounded by restaurants amd entertainment. One issue arose at check in. I am aware of resort fee or damage fee assest to hold. I used my cash app card to hold fee and the front desk refused my card stating that it had to be a debit card. Confused at this statement, Cash app debit cards are accepted at every hotel including this company at other locations.. The front attended really could not provide details on refused funds. So, we ended up using a primary debit card to clear the issue

For the price of the room I would have expected a microwave. Housekeeping did ask if I wanted service but we were taking a shower when she knocked on the door ..we advised we didn't want it right then.. showering and we never saw her again..

The stay was really nice. There was one glitch in the walk in shower. It slopes out of the shower. Water then runs along the bathroom wall and out the door puddling just outside the bathroom door. The second morning we just put towels at the corner of the shower to avoid this. It is a shame the contractor didn't build the shower to keep the water inside. Otherwise the stay was great.
