About this cottage rental
Tower Cottage is an inspired conversion from what was part of the original old power house that has been imaginatively renovated to create a terrace of two cottages, apartment and the luxurious Britannia Spa and Power House Gym which you are welcome to enjoy for a small fee. Tucked away at the back of Bonville’s Court Country Park, a small, exclusive, family caravan park on the edge of the seaside village of Saundersfoot. From the shared entrance with Sovereign Suite, a door leads into this fabulous cottage, both the bedrooms with patio doors, bathroom and ensuite are all on the ground floor. The French doors in the master bedroom open to your own, enclosed, paved patio with steps up to a small lawn giving space to relax on a summer’s evening or to dine alfresco with mature trees and fields beyond.Comfortably furnished to a high standard throughout, it has a beachside theme reflecting its proximity to the sea. The open-plan living space on the first floor mixes a modern contemporary feel with the original industrial character of the building with a vaulted ceiling, A-frame beams and super stained glass window. The modern, fitted kitchen is well-equipped with dining area and comfortable sofas to relax. Both gable ends are glazed making it a light and airy space with a Juliette balcony giving sweeping views over the countryside beyond the park.Take full advantage of the spa offering an extensive gym, spa pool, sauna and steam room, not to mention the experience shower. Alternatively, a short 10 minute walk will take you into the seaside village of Saundersfoot and all the shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as its super golden sandy beach, perfect for children or water sports enthusiasts.A foot path that recently opened leads from the train station and runs past the entrance to the park and down into Saundersfoot and the golden beaches.Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline on foot, head east to Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth, both coastal villages offering beautiful beaches and coast side pubs and cafes where you can refresh ready for the journey home. A visit to the award winning restaurant, Coast, set on the beach at Coppit Hall should not be missed. The path west takes you to the picturesque medieval walled town of Tenby with its cobbled streets, range of facilities, and pretty harbour not to mention still more wonderful sandy beaches. Enjoy a fishing trip or take a boat trip to Caldey Island, home to the Cistercian Monks. Further on, lies more seaside villages each with their own glorious beaches including Manorbier, Lydstep and Freshwater East.If you can bear to leave the coast behind, there are a host of family attractions to experience such as Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Oakwood Theme Park to name but a few, while keen golfers will enjoy the choice of golf courses nearby.Tower Cottage is the ideal base for couples and families alike, whatever the season.Shares the same location as 43100 Courtlands and 43474 Sovereign Suite and can be booked together.Onsite spa facilities including a steam room and sauna, pool spa, experience shower and gym included - No under 10 year olds.
