About this house rental
Enjoy the beauty and variety of the Durham Historic Coastline. The 12th Century Church of St. Hilda on The Headland lies at the southernmost point of the 20 mile Heritage Coastal Path.
The path is renowned for its unique Magnesian limestone coastal grasslands supporting a magnificent array of plants and insects as well as some of the very rare birds this brings.
Very close to the Heugh Battery Museum where in 1914, the first attack on the UK mainland occurred killing over 100 people, and just around the corner from the Headland memorial, this well appointed self-catering house gives you everything you need for a perfect stay. Local shops and pubs are within easy walking distance and often offer additional events such as live music along with open air events in the summer.
A frequent bus service runs to Hartlepool centre where you'll find the National Museum of The Royal Navy with the famous Trincomalee sailing ship. Close by is the Hartlepool Marina and in the town centre the majority of larger stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and bars as well as a cinema, soft play centre, and other attractions.
The house kitchen has a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, a hob, an oven, a kettle, an air-fryer, a toaster, a coffee machine, and a microwave while the lounge offers an Amazon Fire TV and comfortable seating. The dining room has a table for six as well as a sideboard containing family games.
There is a small private yard to the rear and full fibre broadband throughout.
This house has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 5. The 2 main bedrooms have king size beds while the third bedroom contains a single bed suitable for a child over 8. A travel cot is available.
The bathroom is on the ground floor with a toilet, sink, bath and over-bath shower, and linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Street parking without time restrictions.
- Up to 2 dogs are allowed at the property.
