I rented this home to get away before I have brain surgery. Unfortunately the only week I could get was the same week as school began so my son and family only stayed two days…but it was still great to be together. MST of the time, it was just adults and one French bulldog.
Pros: location and views were spectacular
2nd floor master, bath and lounge are were comfortable and clean. House was clean as was towels and bedding. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, silverware and dishes. They supplied to, paper towels, trash bags and storage bags but I brought extra and did use what I brought. Oy yah soaps too in baths.
Cons: this was advertised to sleep 10. Although true most areas are very old and very uncomfortable sofa beds and a futon. There were only three bedrooms. One master upstairs with a king size bed that was comfortable. One bedroom with two twin beds also comfortable on first floor. One queen size bed on the first floor but the bed felt like we were sleeping on a granite slab.
All furniture on the first floor was old and very dirty looking….even with covers over it. I guess I expected more.
But…I did love walking outside and looking at the ocean. The location was perfect to access beaches, Rt 1 and all the shopping and restaurants, and Nubble Light House.

Beautiful views from the balcony and back yard space, right on the water. Cozy home, close walk (15 minute) to the beach and Nubble Lighthouse.
4.0 / 5.0
This property is conveniently set on Nubble Road between Short Sands and Long Sands Beach. The ocean view was beautiful, especially from the 2nd floor deck. Beds were pretty comfortable. Decor, furnishings, maintenance could use some updating. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Enough room for everyone to have their own space.
For the price, could use some upgrades in the off-season (old appliances, old furniture, peeling wallpaper in upstairs bathroom, trim the poison sumac trees that block the view of the ocean and are coming up thru the landscaping, purge outdated items in cabinets and closets.)
4.0 / 5.0
The views from the house were spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and very accessible to the beaches, restaurants and attractions. The house itself was a bit outdated and in need of a few repairs(screen doors and wallpaper). Overall a fun stay with our family.
