Fantastic weekend away with great activities close by and a beautiful 50's themed cottage

We enjoyed the tranquil setting and the generous breakfast provided and the lovely bottle of wine.

The breakfast provisions were generous and fresh and some were home grown. Generous tea and coffee. Lots of cooking facilities.

A doona on the bed would have been great as it was was quite cold overnight. The beds are bit worn out and hard. But otherwise everything was clean and fresh.

Recommend the cottage and place highly.

Breakfast was excellent, catered for all tastes and types. Area and surrounds were peaceful and picturesque. Excellent position to all places of interest nearby. Very enjoyable stay. Hosts were exceptional in all ways.

A lovely place to start the day, before getting to discover the Barossa

Location, breakfast options, host flexibility and friendliness, overall vibe of the cottage, not cold inside when in winter

Not a dislike, more of a personal preference regarding mattress comfort. Good bed by any standard.

Comfortable clean stay will recommend

How well contained the cottage was. It has cereal, condiments, saucepans etc to make the stay fantastic. Didn’t have to purchase breakfast supplies

We paid for a cottage stay and that should mean the whole cottage but you get told if there are more people staying you need to pay extra $50 per person. That’s ridiculous if there’s 2 queen size beds then you should be able to have 4 people stay

A gorgeous cottage with the most comfortable of beds, the most generous breakfast, delicious complimentary wine, an amazing bathroom and shower and the most helpful of hosts. The bomb! Book it .

Beautifully decorated, cozy Artdeco cottage!

This accommodation was beautifully decorated in quaint Artdeco style. It was comfortable, cosy and homely. It had all the facilities we could ask for. Two good sized bedrooms off the main lounge room. Nice bathroom. Set on a property with views of the vineyards. Less than five minutes drive to the lovely town of Tanunda in the centre of the Barossa it was quite but we’ll located. Would very much recommend. Cynthia the host was very friendly and helpful.

Awesome location. Fantastic communication from Cynthia with quick responses. Wildlife and nature at your fingertips. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast provisions were ample. Everything plus more was there!!

found Tanunda the pick of towns in the Barossa so the location was fortuitous, very private, quiet

breakfast ingredients made very good omelet, plenty of food, nearly ran out of coffee, but the bottle of red wine left as a welcoming gift was of exceptional quality

picture on rental portal showed private spa and perhaps another residence to the one we stayed in

Perfect stay & location - would return!

We had a great weekend stay at Veritas Cottage - it exceeded our expectations! The house was so tidy and cute decor, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The added breakfast provisions were amazing and was nice to have some fresh Barossa produce! The cottages are literally opposite to a few wineries so we were able to walk which was handy, and then enjoy a few bottles on the outdoor setting watching the bunnies and looking at the vineyards. We had even accidentally left a few things behind after our stay and our hosts so kindly agreed to drop them to a family member in a nearby town. Thank you so much Cynthia & family for the lovely weekend away. We will recommend to others & be back :)

We all had a nice relaxing time and we would love to stay again

Disappointing

Location

The kitchen appliances and laundry were very dated and needs updating. The heating and cooling system can be improved. The property was well past its prime and needs updating. The pricing does not reflect this.

Position, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast supplies were good

Mice, no cupboard free to put our own food into. Lots of half used bottles of sauces etc.

Could not have been better, with deer and rabbits out in the garden at breakfast time, and very frie

Plenty of provisions for breakfast. Able to cook for ourselves at a leisurely pace.

We wish we had booked for more than a couple of days.

Wonderful old world charm with a great mix of modern luxury
