If you never read and follow a review in your life, PLEASE listen to this one. My family were in town for a Vollyball tournament and we just needed a place for 2 nights. Immediately upon checking in we noticed how dated the hotel was. Fine no problem, we got to our room and the smell from the bathroom was just awful. We had to change rooms. The new room had clean sheets but the furniture was old and peeling. Soap containers with no soap. We turned on the water for showers and rusty water came out! The next morning we headed down for “free breakfast” but got stuck on the broken elevator. The staff member had to reset the elevator control. Breakfast included powdered eggs, hard sausage, cereal with no milk and juice machine broken. We asked for housekeeping services which never happened. HAD to keep the hotel because the prices were too high at other hotels for last minute booking. I am a real person. Today is December 8th, 2024. Please reconsider if you re considering this place. Less expensive does not equal better. Pay the extra for another hotel because nothing beats the safety and comfort of your family.

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced in a dated hotel that needs to be demolished and rebuilt. 1) Pressure washing outside building causing dirt flying around 2) At breakfast, the hotel said they ran out of sausages, yogurt, and orange juice. There was a grocery a few blocks away. GO BUY WHAT YOU NEED!!!! 3) I ask upon check in to have my room service each day. It was never serviced at all. They called me and I said I would be leaving at 11:30am for a meeting. Housekeeping NEVER cleaned the room. 4) Dust is an inch thick on the light grate in the bathroom. It’s never been vacuumed. 5) There is a constant noise coming out of the wall HVAC. 6) The TV is horrible. Lots of channels on the provided channel line up but the remote doesn’t allow access to them. 7) To end a horrible hotel stay on a positive note, the bed pillows were comfortable, there was lots of instant hot water, and the water pressure was great. However, I would never stay here again and I’m coming back to Gainsville in February ’25. I’ll be staying just down the block.

The fire inspection on the levator was expire. One elevator was not working and the other broke down twice during our stay. There were exposed wires from the ac that could be dangerous for small children. There were stains on the carpet and trash was swept under the bed skirt. The WiFi did not work for most of our stay. The bathroom door only opened from inside so if you closed it you wouldn’t be able to get back in. We called to have it fixed but it never was. Hotel needs major maintenance

Property is not in great condition. Checked in to our room and the exterior window has massive cracks in it. Tried to connect to the WIfi and was unable to connect for two days after informing the front desk of the issue. Was told no one else was having the issue and then someone came down and asked if the problem had been resolved for the Wifi that they had reported as well.

Checked in very late at night, after hours of driving, and door card reader didn't work. After going to the desk twice, got moved to another room, which was NOT clean. Had to be moved to a third room, which was clean. Very frustrating, especially when I was just very ready to relax and get settled. Desk employee was very helpful and accommodating, in trying to remedy the situation, she was very helpful and kept working with me and made sure I was satisfied. Hotel just needs an overall update, especially carpet. Overall a decent stay once I got settled.

I had to check in here with my mom since it’s closest to the hospital. First day i already saw a cockroach inside the room, the floor is dirty looks like they have never changed it for decades. The breakfast is the only thing i like and the staff is on the friendly side.

Elevator inspection expired May 2024 and we visited 8/31/24-9/1/24 and that was the most recent inspection. Elevator worked perfectly fine but the guy at the counter asked if anything was wrong and that was literally it haha. Amazingly friendly staff and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms were so clean and the hotel was gorgeous.

The bed was great and the ac was freezing cold 60 degrees! Everything i look for in a room. It did not smell like cigarettes and was clean. A little out dated but it definitely served its purpose!
