The GulfCoast Inn, overall, was a great stay. The room was decent, the pool area was nice even with a bar and grill. The staff were very friendly. My 4 star review is because I did see roaches on multiple nights during my stay. There were also some flies in the bathroom that gathered around the vent. I still felt comfortable, but I know others may not be as okay with something like that. I simply just grabbed them with toilet paper and removed them. I’m not sure if other rooms experienced that, but with the few that I saw, there has got be other rooms with them as well.

Wonderful place! Great service, and the property is lovely! Pool is crystal clear, ant the Tiki bar was fabulous. My room was so cute, and comfy, I could live here for awhile!

We stayed at the Gulf Cost Inn the week of Thanksgiving 2024 for 3 nights. During this time we encountered 4 huge cockroaches in our first room. We killed all of them and reported it to the front desk and they immediately offered a different room. We live in Florida so we know that this can happen in the best of homes, but we have only averaged 2 a year. Most of the problem is probably the gaps in the bottom and sides of the doors in both room that allow these bugs and probably small rodents into the room. I am not kidding about the gaps in the door frames. Now, I would have expected them to upgrade us or even give us a comparable room. Understand, this was still morning and I offered to wait until later in the day when we returned from the beach to change rooms, but they called me and wanted me to change immediately. We were given a room that was not upgraded and was not comparable to the room we had. I was tired and thought we just needed to settle in and accept this. Big mistake. People were outside our room, at the pool area, until midnight. Loud talking, children playing and screaming, and no control from the motel. We go to Naples often as we still have friends in Naples and we usually like to stay at one of the chains but thought maybe we should start supporting family run businesses. We don’t think that way anymore even though: Really nice people Exceptional continental breakfast host. She was one of the best I’ve ever had take care of me

Was greeted quickly and friendly when checking in . Hotel is super cute and the room is perfect. We have a small kitchen area that’s perfect for late night snacks . We tried Harold’s place restaurant poolside for dinner which was wonderful.

My sister and I go every year. They have upgraded the rooms. Everything was very comfortable. The tiki hut and food are both excellent. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

The bed was a platform type and we kept hitting our shins on it. Mattress was very thin and the bed "clunked" each time we set down on it. The room was clean but older and run down.

Stayed here on a recommendation, front desk and breakfast staff we're very friendly. However rooms are pretty run down, found a cockroach on our pool towel brought down from our room (hopefully it wasn't in our room) , and although the pool is nice and the restaurant next to it adds something to the property... My husband was yelled at by a man(owner?) when our child threw a ball while playing in the pool and it hit a table on the pool deck. Could've handled it much more pleasantly and put a negative feel to or stay the first night we got there, very rude.

Whilst the room was clean and tidy the pool and bar area is very dated and needs a lot of work to bring it up to date. Loud banging on the door by a group with a staff member in the middle of the night and went through the building as next door was also tried. Bar staff ignored us, once provided menus for food and when coming to pay for the bill we had to go to the bar for this. Music in restaurant area too loud and couldn’t hear ourselves talk.

The staff were friendly and kind to us. The food at the tiki restaurant was enjoyable. Our fellow guests were lots of fun also,as well,we enjoyed the pet Golden retriever,and of course the pool.

I love this place. I stay here frequently for work and have probably 50 /- stay under my belt. The rooms are super clean, and very comfortable. They have a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Nice TVs. There are a few restaurants right on the property. Harold’s is great. A tiki bar with good drinks and food. Vesuvio’s has amazing pizza and a tremendous antipasto salad. Fujiyama is the only hibachi place I’ve been to where I get full! The pool area is fun, and they have a DJ Saturdays and Karaoke on Sundays. When I go to this area, this is the only place I stay. Highly recommend.

Pulling into the hotel I had my doubts, but the guy on reception was very friendly & the room was tucked away behind the pool area. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I had a thoroughly relaxing stay & would certainly book again.
