I love the Nassau Inn - it's pricey, but bang in the middle of Princeton and walkable to everything, but quiet and so comfortable.

I paid almost 450 dollars for a dark room which was old and needed Even with the lights on and the window open the room was poorly lit. The carpets were thin and the doors and bathrooms had cracks everywhere. Paint was peeling and the entire room for 450 dollars felt like a highway Motel 6. It may be a landmark building but they need to either fix what they charge for a room, or re-furbish the interiors. Even the check- in was cold and impersonal and it felt like we were doing them a favor. You are in the heart of Princeton University and it should maintain some standards. I left the property and could not stay the night with my child.

In the heart of Princeton’s quaint downtown area. Just walk outside the Inn and everything is within walking distance!

Lovely Inn, staff are all friendly, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast could be better, but again, the people make up for what it lacks.

I was disappointed by our stay at the Nassau Inn. While the property is beautiful and the staff were wonderful, it seems to be somewhat resting on its laurels. Our room seemed poorly maintained: loose handle in bathroom faucet, loose standing lamp, crooked toilet. Windows had no full coverage, only slatted blinds. No side table or light except in the middle between the two queen beds. Old mattresses. Toiletries rather meh and no skin lotion. For a hotel that bills itself as the premier establishment in Princeton, it was quite disappointing.

Location is fantastic, you can walk to everything. Decor needs updating... something that gives homage to the passed but inspires the future. Check out Congress Hall in Cape May!!

Having grown up in Princeton, we love the location of the Nassau Inn and the facility. The historic hotel is beautiful and our room was a delight. The gym was very bare bones but who needs it when you have the town of Princeton to walk around? That all said, the service was very mixed overall, both in attitude and actual responsiveness. Not anything awful but management could use a major refresher course in hospitality. There is no competition for the Nassau Inn in the center of town at least not at the moment, so there really is no incentive to improve. Despite service being subpar, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
