Overall the stay was good and relaxing. The only thing that we did not like was that the hotel was without power on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm, due to maintenance going on. We were told the night before but really couldn’t do anything about it, I asked about them comping a us breakfast or something but to no avail. Great hotel just make sure they will be having power.

We had a 1 night layover at LAX. We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport. The hotel was clean, quiet, check in was easy, and the restaurant was great. The young lady working the bar was extremely nice and attentive.

Hello, the bed was comfortable, room was clean. However, don't appreciate cheap bottle water being an incidental cost. I've always had a few free bottles of water at every hotel/motel. The bath/shower drain was clogged so we showered with the water pooling past our ankles.

Super easy check in and helpful staff at reception. Hotel was comfortable and quiet. One improvement would be to respond to messages on hotels.com or to send details of where to pick up the free shuttle with the reservation.

We’ve stayed here multiple times, the staff is always accommodating, rooms are clean, shower is great, food is always, always , great. Location is perfect, just a note, anywhere you want to go, GPS will say 15, 20 minutes, NOT TRUE, everything is 30 to 40 minutes away, this hotel is centrally located IF you want to be in this area. Very popular hotel as Mattel toys corp in outside

Had emailed the hotel 2 months in advance and asked about the airport transfer - no reply. Arrived LAX and went to the shuttle bus area. Texted the hotel. No reply. After 25 minutes gave up and took a taxi. Arrived the hotel and asked what happened to the airport transfer. “-you need to call us” Really!!? I have no phone plan in the US. Checked into room which reeked of disinfectant to the point of headache within one minute. Went down again to change room. That involved house keeping and took 20 minutes. New room. The bathroom sliding door is near impossible to close. Worst hotel stay in years.

My sons really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was awesome. The facilities were well cared for and clean. The beds and pillows were awesome. Staff took really good care of us.

Airport shuttle driver was very unsafe and took 40 mints waiting time, staff welcomed us very nice and professional. During our first morning during breakfast time a guy approached table by table very unprofessional asking each of us if we paid for the service ir not ( that was very uncomfortable) . Other than that , the place is well located & the price was very reasonable.

Check in was fast and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The pillows were subpar. The TV said check signal on every channel, so i was u able to watch anything. The shower was slow to drain and the water took at least 20 minutes to heat up.

the condition of the dresser and night stands were very worn doors were broken and not closing! The parking provided was across the street. I had to return to the front desk twice to get the proper instructions on what floor to park!

Was only there for a night on a stop over . Beds are comfortable , clean , staff friendly . Shuttle to airport offered only every hour . Ok for a night stay but would not book to stay a few nights. Carpet in rooms need a update , hotel per si might need a touch up

We checked in on 11/13 , after showering I closed the bathroom door and found it covered in Vomit! We called the front desk twice each call 30-35 mins. apart ; no one came to clean it up. The following morning when we attempted to reach the General Manager another young man impersonated him and told us that the room had been cleaned. When we arrived back at the Hotel Thursday night we found that the bed had not been made, there were no clean towels, and the Vomit was still on the door! We went to the lobby and were able to speak with the GM, his solution was to give us a different room and offer a free stay from Friday evening to Saturday at 11. This afternoon we returned after running errands to find we’re locked out ! The GM reneged and canceled/ closed our reservation! This was by far THE WORST experience We’ve ever had I will NOT stay at a Double Tree again.

The shuttle took an hour and a half to come, after three phone calls. We paid our tab after eating at bar, and they charged us again, by deducting from deposit. We asked for a trash can with a liner...I went down to ask again, never got it. We asked for towels, did not get them until my Husband went downstairs. No apologies, no call from Manager (whom they said would call me after being charged twice, and no offer of compensation, for the bad service..i.e. breakfast, NOTHING. Im disappointed.

Waited over an hour for the airpirt shuttle. Driver kept calling saying he was " on the way". After over an hour called hotel. They sent anothsr shuttle and apologized. The bed was comfortable and cookies upon arrival were nice. After a 6 hour flight it was awful waiting so long for the shuttle though.

I had to change rooms 3 times to get hot water and appropriate air. In the 3rd room the shower handle on the door fell off. The remote controls were extremely dirty in 2 rooms. Random strands of hair. Overall poor experience and would not recommend!

Terrible customer service. Called from airport for shuttle and manager said it was coming. Waited for 30 minutes. Called again and I was on hold for 20 minutes before manager picked up. Said he was busy and shuttle service was an outside company. Horrible answer. Horrible. Not my problem. Ended up waiting an hour and to walk ten minutes with bags to get an Uber. 5 minutes later after a $35 uber ride i got to hotel and complained to manager and asked for reimbursement of Uber ride or free night. Got no for both. I was angry and got no help from management in hotel. Totally unfair

Advertised as high level floor, got a second level floor. Room right above the entrance to the hotel, sliding doors open and close 24/7 you can feel and hear all day all night! Let receptionist know she rudely said it’s not showing on her end and I’d need to contact Hotels.com about it, I did they said it showed on their end supposed to be a high level floor, Hotels.com said they conntacted the Doubletree staff and spoke to representative J, they said it was sold out and didn’t have what I booked and paid for available. Also said they would send a follow-up email never got one from either company! Also said they would have a trash can brought up immediately, never got one the four nights and five days I was there! No trash can in the room or the bathroom, the texting service they offer no one responds for hours, I had to leave my trash in bags I got from stores. It smells funky, dirty stained carpets.
