Never stay again originally would not honor my hotel.com reservation & trued to raise rate to $200 per night place was a dump

Didn't have my reservation. Wanted me pay more than i was supposed to. Absolutely filthy. Looked like an episode of a sit com. I didn't stay there. Absolute dump!

Room was unfinished, sheets dirty, roaches climbing on walls… I did not stay the night. I rebooked for Ramada which has been pleasant my past two stays. However I’m still waiting on my refund from red roof.

Expedia you should cut ties with Red Roof Inn, i didnt get to stay, there computer system was down, i had every thing on my phone, room and complete price of room and would pay cash, they wouldnt give me a room, 3.5 hrs driving ,no hotels in Columbia Mo availability it was Mizzou college graduation, so i left, didnt get to see my granddaughter graduate, cried all the way home.

Stay away! The best thing for this establishment would be for it to shut down so other people don't have to experience. I paid $320.00 for one night, the whole time there worrying if I was being bitten by bedbugs or end up with a foot disease from the shower. I dry my dog off with cleaner towels then what was given to us, the bed sheets and blankets were stained, I literally wore my socks in the shower. There were stains on the walls, bathroom door, that I could not identify. The electric outlet didn't work at the sink basin, the shampoo that was provided was empty...I could go on and on. At several points in the night, we had people at our door asking for money and cigarettes. My husband didn't sleep as he was afraid our car was going to be tampered with. What was supposed to be an amazing time in Columbia celebrating my son's graduation was very much ruined by the extreme conditions at this establishment.

This place was absolutely disgusting! Nothing like the pictures! And the MANAGER refused to give me a refund for a used night. The bathtub has rust, dirt and mold in it. The bedding was dirty. The walls were black from smoke and filth. We booked a NON SMOKING ROOM! They charged my account before we ever even arrived and checked in. This place needs to be shut down.

The smoke alarm battery was chirping. The phone didn't work. There was dried toothpaste all over the faucet handles. Some kind of brown liquid was dried on the bathroom door. There was a dead fly in the window. Trash outside the door on the sidewalk. The floor was dirty. The sheets and bed spreads were stained. A guy was right outside mowing and weed eating at 8:00 pm, but the worst thing is bed bugs. Also, I asked for a non smoking room. The one we got was saturated with cigarette smoke and my daughter is highly allergic. We asked for another room but was told that there were non available. We were only there about an hour but the phone and smoke alarm were never repaired by maintenance like the girl at the front desk told us they would be. The smoke alarm is a safety hazard. The bed bugs despicable.

I did not stay because the door wouldn’t shut all of the way and they refused to refund any of my money. While I was at the front desk a gentleman came in with pictures of how dirty his room was as well. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I checked in, and they did not have any record of my reservation, they try to give me a smoking room. I didn’t even know hotel still have smoking rooms? And then they required a $60 deposit cash only, which I thought was very odd. I ended up leaving before the first night there.

The start of this was a disaster as there is not deposit information online and they said i owe a $60 deposit cash so i told them i dont have cash then they said it would be over card. Then 5 minutes later they said i didnt owe anything. I heard one of the guys say over the phone the deposit was then $100. The room was good but they get a low rating for lying to me and then trying to charge more for the next person.

I did NOT stay ! After trying to check in the front desk staff was very rude. Refused to allow me to check in a little early unless I paid another $40. The condition of the property and the office was terrible so not worth even trying to stay there. I’m out the money and had to find another hotel after her being very rude.

Required a $100 cash deposit upon arrival. Room was NOT clean. Sheets had NOT been changed. Something splattered all over bathroom door. Microwave dirty. Mold on ceiling. Fast food trash and mini liquor bottles in nightstand drawer. Cigarette ashes and chewed gum (?) in dresser, and our room was supposed to be NON-SMOKING. All office help said was “Sorry about that”.

Firstly we always stay at a Red Roof Inn. I have never had an experience like we did for this stay. Firstly the smoke detector was broken and hanging from the wall by wires. Secondly to use the microwave I had to unplug the refrigerator. Thirdly the TV remote did not work. I am handicapped, (and I booked a handicap room) if I'd been there without my husband I would have been out of luck. My husband and reported these issues and our concerns seemed to be ignored. Finally, my husband asked for fresh towels and we were given towels that weren't even folded, which caused us to speculate that they weren't clean. Worst Red Roof experience we have ever had!
