This property definitely did not live up to the standards of the brand. Comfort Inns and Comfort Suites are both usually really consistently great on cleanliness, condition of the property and rooms, as well as having good quality, comfortable mattresses and pillows. This place certainly wasn't dilapidated or disgusting, but there were visible spider webs up in a corner of the ceiling above one bed, the shower curtain rod was haphazardly hanging from its mounts where there was a place a sizable square reinforcement plate likely used to be, as that area has been completely missed during their last paint job, electrical outlets were old and barely holding plugs in, and someone's dog must have scratched at the inside of the room entry door because there were several highly visible scratches going through to the previous color of paint. The staff was friendly and helpful, and that is what bumped the overall rating up to a 3 star. The included breakfast was well stocked with delicious options, including your choice of regular, or a specialty flavor of waffle batter. During my stay, they had strawberry flavored batter, which I found quite delectable. All-in-all, not terrible, especially for being located in crazy crime-and-homeless-riddled land, but even considering that, I think the property could easily do better.

The only complaints I have is that pool is cold and that there could be more fruit options for breakfast . Staff was very friendly we will be staying again next year.

Decent hotel to stay at compared to super 8 across the street, the pool was open and they served breakfast for 50$ more a room being cleaner than super 8, I did not like my experience at the super 8 across the street

price/ property/clean- The pictures look nicer than what it really looks like. I could have stayed in a cheaper hotel with how it looked inside. The place was clean but they replaced the heater/air when we were there and it was leaking all over the floor. I had to place towels on the floor. Ghetto imo Breakfast- Ok I had to say something about this. The breakfast was great! I was shocked. It was good. Comfort Inn gets an A for that. So many good options! I went thinking I would have to buy breakfast too nope! SO I did save money there for sure. staff- They were nice and professional BUT they didnt tell us that we had to request to have our room cleaned. I was told to read the small print sign after I complained. Area- well I live in portland oregon so Im used to tweakers and bums. It wasn't something that bothered me I guess. The whole place is gated so I felt safe and I wasnt worried about my car. There are alot of trees so I mean it looks nice.

First off location is great and staff were friendly and helpful. However, rooms need a serious refresh and lots of little issues like bathtub fills with water during shower, room door didn't auto close, AC wasn't great and so on. Complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best, pool and lobby seemed dark and dingy and fitness room was essentially useless. Lots of services and restaurants were walkable. Ok for a night or two for a bed to sleep in.

I was booked into an ADA room, a fact of which I was not informed upon booking. The shower handle.was not optimal, as it didn't turn off properly. The most ridiculous thing was that the blackout curtains -- on windows rhat faced.directly into the parking lot at.ground level -- were BEHIND the sheers. The curtains that appeared to be blackout curtains.were non-functional. When I did finally find the blackout curtains, I could barely reach the pull handles (i stand under 5') which makes me question how someone in a wheelchair or using a walked would be expected to close the blackout curtains. We booked this hotel because it had a hot tub. In previous years we booked the LaQuinta that shares the same parking lot, but for the oast few years their hot tub has been non-functional. We were assured that the hot tuv was functional, only to discover on check-in that it was in fact not functioning. We will likely book elsewhere when we come donw next year for this tournament.
