Room was full of character charm & the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in, from the many hotels over the years. A very comfortable soft mattress with luxurious bedding. The staff are friendly. The hotel positioned in an ideal central location.

Really nice & quiet place to stay in Cambridge. We really enjoyed our spacious room with a spectacular view of the Cam. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Although the hotel was lovely I would not recommend this hotel due to our experience. We were placed in quite a small room and it was far from reception and a lift, so quite a walk for access. It also had a co joining room which although locked, we could hear the other room chatting. The front of hotel is bare, not welcoming. The location is good but I just felt this was not an ideal hotel and wouldn’t return.

I like the all the Graduate hotels I've stayed at, and this is no exception. Excellent location - right on the river and very close to the center - and nicely appointed rooms.

I often go to Cambridge overnight, but I stayed here for the first time. It was great.
The location was wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the service was excellent.
However, I think it would be much better If you pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the balcony (especially the chairs).

Excellent location, bar, restaurant and pool. But you do pay for this - pretty much Central London prices. £29 for overnight parking was also very expensive. And because the bill was so high, they even kept my security deposit - very small but it's the principle...

The room itself was fabulous, comfortable spacious bed, clean bathroom and local design touches. It looked pretty newly renovated as it used to be the Garden House Hotel. However, the Hilton’s sexual harassment policy seems to encourage employees to ‘pay compliments’ as it’s happened to me at each Hilton group hotel I’ve stayed at which is simply outrageous.

My stay was for two nights with two friends. We had a family room and wanted to sit on our balcony, but no chairs. Requested chair's and were told it wasn't possible as it was a family room, even though there were 3 adult's only in the room. We requested an ice bucket with ice. We received it but the ice bucket inside was very dirty. I rang down for a replacement and was given another. Also I don't appreciate a service charge on drinks when I had been at the bar to order, it was not communicated to me. I only found out later when my friend went to get a drink and took her receipt. On our check out I received an email of the bill and a extra breakfast had been added. I spoke to the young women on reception and she told me basically that we had an extra breakfast, we did not. She repeated again that we had. I at first didn't hear what she said and asked her to repeat it, she spoke to me like I was a child. I do not expect to be treated in such a manner, she was not sincere in her half hearted apology. I will say the lady on the desk in the breakfast room was very pleasant and I suggest she goes onto the reception. Our breakfast was lovely and staff in The Garden Room were excellent. Unfortunately for myself and my friends the issues we have we will not return to The Graduate we will continue going to The Hilton on Downing Street where the staff there are excellent. The Graduate was very disappointing!!

Great situation for access to all main areas of Cambridge and the universities. Right on the river. Tired room that is in need of a refurb. The woodwork and desk area all chipped and marked. Room was a real trek from reception with no offer of our luggage being sent up, many corridors and steps to negotiate not ideal for over 70s! Room was not made up on our return after 4.00 pm had to call reception twice to get someone up to clean service ( they told me that they give priority servicing to checkouts ) wow … so once you’re in you don’t matter!! Asked for 2 non feather pillows but housekeeper didn’t understand !! Brought Feather ones and didn’t understand my request . Charge for car park ridiculous £26 a day !! But then again I had a great view of the car park from the room . ( hope you get my sarcasm) As a Hilton honours member to say I was disappointed would be an under statement. I’m sure there are better places to stay for the same money as this hotel is not cheap !!! No soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and when we asked for some we got a shower wall pump left on the sink ….. really ???

Room was shocking! Balcony was grim, one chair, in desperate need of a power wash ! Not worth paying extra for! Room was dark and dingy and bathroom very small, room full of furniture but no storage for clothes !
Good location but wouldn’t stay again!

Gorgeous hotel very welcoming and helpful staff lovely other guests we crossed paths with. Room was great with hindsight 2 double beds swapped with a double and 2 singles would have been perfect - bathroom needs space to put your stuff… toothbrushes, makeup, contact lenses etc and also clothes space in room was minimal..loved the balcony.
Food allergies/ingredients need addressing as my son was unable to eat anything at breakfast (legume allergy) we had flagged held wld be needed prior and staff tried but no foods were sage.

Overall a lovely stay at the Graduate. We were a family of 4 (kids 12 and 10) staying in the family room with two double beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. However, the room did have a few down points - the shower would suddenly change temperature, the USB charging points were not really working properly and there wasn’t a plug socket next to each side of the two beds, the lighting was not great - only two spot lights in the whole room and some lamps; part of the room next to one of the beds was so dark we couldn’t see in our suitcases so we had to move them near the balcony window, and lastly the lack of storage - one very small cupboard for the 4 of us. We were somehow missed during the room turnaround in the morning and had to ask for our room to be cleaned whilst out for dinner in the evening. Check in was also late - it was a very busy bank holiday weekend and the hotel was full so we didn’t get access to our room until 3.30.
Despite all these issues, we still had a wonderful 2 night stay and the staff were amazing. Upon checkout we were offered money off our parking (usually £26.50 per day) for the issues we had. The kids made use of the great pool - only 16 people at a time so get there in advance during peak as we had to be put on a waiting list. The breakfast was great quality and the bar had some great cocktails. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere and the punting dock is literally outside. I would recommend staying

The hotel is on the river Cam and is very close to King's Parade. The restaurant was ok and the service was excellent. The room was comfortable. The Maitre de was superb--he was very busy with weddings et al but paid as much careful attention to the needs of a single person who ordered very little.
